First off let me explain how I was looking for over a year for a pup to turn into a service dog for myself. I came acrossed Ostland German Shepard. From the minute we left with our beautiful addition to our family Lola Rose, she attached to myself quickly. She immediately told me when she had to go potty. Plays wonderful with my 9 year old and 8 month old. Laid back most times which is wonderful. Truly a lover and always loves our attention. Lola tends to get tired from the loves and will go lay in her cage. Already at 11 weeks... Potty training going great with cage method. Instantly a smart pup since the minute she was put in my car to go home. A long 2.5 hour drive. Did amazing ♥️ Highly recommend, Dan is true to his words and very professional. Thank you Dan once again for our Special Championship Line Pure Breed German Shepard

Exceptional customer service from Dan. Ostland German Shepherds is the best breeder around. Drove 80 miles from Albany to pick up my female and she was beautiful and very intelligent from the start. The temperament of his litters are to behold. Highly recommended if you are interested in a German Shepherd.

Ostland German Shepherds are friendly to deal with, and are passionate about what they do. The puppy they delivered is playful, healthy, energetic and made for a great addition to our family. I highly recommend them, as the attention to detail was superior to other breeders, and exceeded our expectations. They are extremely knowledgeable, and were able help our family prepare for our new addition. My wife and I look forward to maintaining an active relationship over the next several years as our puppy grows.

I have been dealing with German Shepherd breeders either buying a dog, or breeding my own for over 35 years. My recent experience working with Dan @ Ostland German Shepherds was by far the best experience I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and you can tell he really loves the breed. He is committed to the quality, health and well being of each and every animal under his care. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for either a quality pet, show or working German Shepherd, contact Dan first.
