Sparks is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sparks follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My third review of this student school; first one back in 2019.ALL good! Got my cut today 5/15/26 from Tony who accomplished EXACTLY what I described and wanted. He was polite, efficient and acting more like a seasoned pro than expected. I got exactly the cut I wanted! Thank you Tony.

Came in on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait. Didn’t realize you could make an appointment if you have a barber. But we walked in and barber was introduced to us and we paid right up front. The Prices are extremely reasonable and you know they have to do their best since they’re in The Academy. The front desk person was very kind, welcoming, and professional, and it seems very clean in this facility. It’s also air conditioned, which is a bonus on this hot summer day! The music is chill and very good experience! Update: been here for over an hour and I guess it’s time or money at this point. Although the barbers are still learning, at some point an hour for a simple cut is a bit too long. So just be mindful of your time if you get a newer barber.

I needed a hair cut for a job interview. I was walking by and noticed that they have a $10 haircut (wow I haven't seen a price like that since I was in my 20's. Great! I'll stop in and get a hair cut and look good for my interview. Little did I know that I was being cut by a master and the students were watching and learning. I was happy that I could help future barbers. I was a little nervous but I was set at ease. I got the best hair cut in my life. If you ever get a chance stop by and you will see how awesome they are. You will be astonished by there professionalism. Thanks to all.

This academy needs to improve its online presence. They say they are open on Saturdays, but for the past month, I have gone there and found it closed every time. This makes me question the five-star reviews they have received; they seem like they might be from the owner and their family rather than from real customers.

This place is AMAZING! I bring my 10yr old son here to get his hair cut and they do exactly what I ask for. The environment is welcoming and the students really take their time with each client. The prices are fantastic and I would suggest this place to anyone!!
