Stacy was a great guide. It was made clear to me ahead of time that due to this being the beach season, that we would not be riding on the beaches and would have views of a gothic castle. Ride was as described. Yes we were on a road, but we were right next to the beach and I loved the views of the coast. Dallas (the horse) was relaxed, content, and well behaved. It was a very relaxing ride. Stacy provided some insight on three great wildlife refuges to stop by while I was in town. The horses in the barn were well groomed, well fed, happy, and generally well cared for. For context, I have thoroughbreds and have been riding 30+ years. I have led my own trail rides, and they don't always go smoothly. Ours went off without a hitch! Drivers were respectful of horses on the road shoulder, and the horses were unbothered by any passing vehicles.

My boyfriend surprised me with a private guided trail ride for my birthday, and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences ever. Riding a horse has always been on my bucket list, so this gift meant so much to me, and Stacey and everyone there made it absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so sweet, welcoming, and friendly. Since it was my first time riding, I was a little nervous, but they made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident before we even started. Stacey paired me with the perfect horse, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The trail ride itself was beautiful, peaceful, and so much fun. They checked in throughout the ride to make sure I was doing okay and enjoying myself, which I really appreciated. You can truly tell how much they care about both the riders and the horses. I’m so grateful for this experience and for how special they made my birthday feel. If you’re thinking about booking a trail ride, I highly recommend Stacey and her team — especially for first-time riders. They made crossing this off my bucket list such an incredible memory!

Had a great time with Pumpkin and Coolwhip! Horses are well taken care of, space is clean, our tour guide Stacy was super sweet and awesome! The beach was great and very pretty and relaxing to walk along with the horses. We went in April and the beach was beautiful with the horses (starting in May to Sep, horses are not allowed on beaches) Thank you for a great time!

I’m so glad I signed up for a beach ride with the Equestrian Academy. First of all, what a breathtakingly beautiful ride. Flowers are blooming and the beach is so pretty. Our group had a variety of experience and the staff did such a good job placing the right person with the right horse and going over basic instruction. The barn manager was so sweet and let me give horses apples and carrots. It was such a perfect was to spend an afternoon.
