Reno is in Nevada, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Reno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a stray cat drop a kitten off in our parking lot, called and got expert advice from Kiley. She came out to help set everything up to make sure the mom came back and grabbed him. Also talked about the positives of TNR. 10/10 interaction.

The wait is kinda irritating considering how many employees they have meandering or sitting around. But also, inflation is insane! Less than 2 years ago, kittens were less than a bill. Now they're $150? And no discount if you foster lol. (Foster fail x2 here.) AND they push you to buy pet insurance. But they do good things, I suppose.

I have an Angel Pet, a petite kitty that was ill when I adopted her. I named her Itzie, because she was so tiny. She was disgnosed with FeLV and FIV. The staff have been great, and she had outlived her morality expectations and continues to be doing great. Thanks to this wonderful program. Itzie is our gift from God and we love this sweet little beauty that has brought such love, joy and laughter into our home.

I adopted these two cat Bros now known as Moto and Poppie, but to the Reno Humane Society they were known as Motorboat and Papa. I adopted them in 2018. It is now in 2025 and I just wanted to share that they are still so happy so healthy and they are in there forever home ! My best friends!!! We also adopted our bunny rabbit named Cooper from the Sierra Nevada Humane Society, she was 6months old, and now she is going on 7 years old. By the way Reno, she was a giant breed hehe so she fits perfectly with her brothers Moto and Poppie!
