Located at 464 N Main St, Heber City, UT 84032, Mountain Dog Lounge operates as a pet groomer serving Heber City in Utah. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as boutique, dog day care center, dog trainer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Heber City is in Utah, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Heber City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My experience here was fantastic! Dogs loved it, even my nervous nelly- they took their time with her to comfort her through the grooming and she loved every minute of it - both of my German shepherd dogs loved it! Will definitely go back and recommend! Thank you for doing such a great job! Something of note for those needing hair trimming that I haven’t seen elsewhere is they have a chart so you can select hair trimming length from. Price quotes were upfront, so I knew pretty much what it was going to cost. We will be back again 🙂

The team is so nice! My dog has major anxiety and they were super polite about it and gave him cuddles. My dog came back smelling soooooooooooo good and feeling so soft! They also sell super healthy snacks for the pups!!

First time bringing my two dogs here, and it will definitely be the last. I recently moved to Utah and have lived all over the U.S., using many different grooming services over the years. This is the first place where I truly felt nickel-and-dimed at every turn. While the grooming itself was acceptable, they still managed to miss an area on one of my dogs that I specifically asked to have groomed. The fees and policies are excessive. I was charged a “handling fee” for my 25-lb pug/beagle because she’s a little wiggly during nail trims and needed someone to help hold her. She’s 11 years old and very gentle, so this charge felt completely unreasonable. They also require a 50% deposit just to hold an appointment. On top of that, no one contacted me when my dogs were finished. I had to call myself to find out, and they were closing in less than an hour. To top it off, they couldn’t even provide a receipt at checkout and said it would be emailed later. Between the constant extra charges, excessive waivers, poor communication, and sloppy attention to detail, this was easily the most frustrating grooming experience I’ve had. I won’t be returning and would recommend looking elsewhere.

This is the first time that I’ve ever taken a dog to this dog spa… the staff was super professional, very friendly, and they treated my puppy with love and respect. It was a little bit more money than I have spent at other places, but I feel that it was well worth the extra dollars …my husky has never looked this good. I plan to take my two other dogs there in the near future.

I took the puppy course at Mountain Dog Lounge and was very impressed and pleased with the results and the instructors-Tracy (the owner) and Justice. They were incredibly attentive, hands-on, and knowledgeable, taking time to problem solve for individual needs. Tracy, Justice, and Breah (groomer) are my team for my puppy’s needs. I love their support, skills, and care they give. I highly recommend this place for your doggies!
