Took my kitty here for some extra TLC, he had gotten some mats that we just couldn’t brush out. The staff was so sweet to him and even though he didn’t love his time, I would say he is grateful. And he is so handsome! They followed my wishes to save as much fur as possible while trying to even it out (so there are shorter patches per my request) it’s purrfect! They take pictures through out and gave him a little report card. Photos are before, after, and during for reference.

Ares had excellent grooming with Leea at Mittens Pets. He was greeted warmly and I loved the pictures during his care! He was happy when I picked him up and his lion cut looks great.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my mother-in-law and Thor, our beloved family cat. My husband and I learned Thursday 2-26-26, that Thor had been injured following his grooming appointment and the vet needed follow up photos to see if he was healing. This is approximately two weeks later and I shudder to think what the injuries looked like fresh. We are appalled. My mother-in-law is not the kind of person to raise a fuss. Thor is the sweetest ball of fluff and quite literally wouldn’t harm a mouse. We understand that Thor, being a triple-coat Persian presents grooming challenges. He often has mats and requires his fur to be trimmed and/or shaved. We have been using Mitten’s Pets for about a year with no issue until now. This is absolutely unacceptable and we will no longer be bringing Thor in nor recommending Mitten’s Pets. We switched to Mitten’s Pets from Peppermint Pet in Canton originally because the location is closer with better availability and came with good reviews. We will be returning to our previous groomer. We did not call Mitten’s Pets and leave a formal complaint over the phone due to the fact that since they were OK with returning him injured, would they really

Grooming was good but communication was completely unprofessional. I took Okami for his first grooming. Was told grooming went well and he'd been a little stressed but it was his first time. I schedule an appointment 3 months out was called a week later to reschedule which I obliged. Then, 2 weeks prior to my appointment was called to reschedule for 2 months later. Fully five months from my initial booking. The following day, I was called by a manager informing me my cat had been labeled aggressive and they wanted to refer him. There was no prior discussion of this as an issue. The groomers do a good job but the management team and owner clearly do not communicate. I would not trust getting consistent care with Mitten's pets

We love Mitten's Pets and so do our kitties! We have boarded our two cats there three years in a row and couldn't be happier. I did a lot of research before choosing them and it paid off. They only board cats which we considered a big plus. They spend time daily with each cat and snap photos which are then sent by email and saved to a parent portal on their website for viewing. This is so reassuring when you are out of town! The cottages and suites are large, homey and outfitted with everything a kitty could want. Our cats loved the high shelves! They have now added kitty cams which were reassuring and gave us a peek into what our kitties were up to when we were out of town. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. Board your beloved kitties here!
