About Millie's Dog Grooming

Millie's Dog Grooming is a pet groomer in Wichita, Kansas. It is listed at 8989 W Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67212, which places it among the local businesses of Wichita that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Millie's Dog Grooming at (316) 295-2692; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is milliesdoggrooming.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Wichita is in Kansas, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wichita follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. We have been going to Mellisa at Millie's for over 10 years. She has groomed both our standard poodle and our golden doodle. Even though she has groomed them regularly, she always asks how we want them cut. She has worked with our schedule, rebooked us when emergencies have come up, and has always been a pleasure to work with. Don't know if she is accepting large dogs any more, but I would highly recommend her.

I really wanted to like this place because it was recommended to me but it was just so hard. I kept trying to have a positive attitude and smile at the workers but I’m really just So glad the services I booked were so quick because as soon as I came in, I just felt like I wasn’t gonna have a good experience. I was the only one that said hello with a smile. No one replied when I did say hello. Just kinda looked at me and thought oh great another appointment. Very great first impression for a new client….. Took a minute for someone to come to the counter and just say “Okaayy and my dog’s name” so I replied yup. She confirmed one service and then I reconfirmed the three services I booked for Then she went back and double checked and confirmed the three services. After she got everything ready, Came to get him, Started with his teeth, Then when he got to the nails, he definitely had an issue at first because the collar wasn’t tied tight enough so he got out of it, but it just seems like she really didn’t want to be doing what she was doing. If you work with pets you should be able to work with all kinds of situations with them, and maybe with some type of positive attitude. Idk maybe

Millie's is the absolute best! Melissa has been grooming my Tzu's for 8 years and we will NEVER trust our babies with anyone else. She isn't cheap, but...you get what you pay for!
