About Mill River Bark Park
In 2019, a pop-up dog park was created in Mill River Park to test its popularity and activate an undeveloped section of the Park. The temporary location quickly became a favorite among downtown dog owners who lack designated open space to exercise their pets. After engaging with the dog run community, we believe the temporary park should become a permanent feature. A dog run will provide residents with a safe, vibrant, and well-maintained space to exercise their pups and connect with the growing dog community. The Collaborative is excited to partner with our friends at the Bark Park to refresh the space while planning a larger park design along Washington Boulevard.

It’s a good and convenient dog park, well maintained for the most part, although pebbles are probably not the best material to use on the ground. Some dogs dislike it, and are reluctant to walk on the pebbles, which defeats the purpose of the dog park. Supposedly the city is building a new and improved dog park, but we shall see.

Improvements are really nice, much cleaner and dogs seem even happier in there!

The doggy park is a part of thill River Park. Trail circles the park and is perfect length to walk the dog, then he can play with the other dogs in the enclosed bark park.

Mulch dog park with structures for the dogs to play on. Not super big, pretty location.

Had a great time here until some dumb dumb left the gates open and let my young dog out who ran around for a while and scared the life out of me. So, beware, it feels like a bit of amateur hour here. But otherwise it's a nice spot! Hopefully this is a rare thing to happen. The rest of the crowd seemed nice.
