This store needs to stop reselling , used three pack shadowboxes. This is my fourth set that I had sent to me damaged or was used and repackaged. This is absolutely ridiculous. If somebody returns something because of damage, it doesn't mean you fix it on your own, repackage it and sell it as something not used. This is also the third set that I have received where the 8x8 signage is missing from two of the frames because they're reselling USED frames. You need to do better.

II checked online before coming in because the website showed there were 3 of the wire in stock. I spent quite a bit of time searching for it, only to be told by the cashier and manager that it was in the framing department. Instead of assisting me, I was sent to find the framing associate myself. When we got there, the items were mislabeled and the product still could not be found. I explained again that your website showed 3 in stock, but instead of offering a solution, I was pushed toward a different product that would not work for my project. The manager said they checked the back and still could not find it. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer service — no apology, no offer to order the item for me, and no attempt to make the situation right. I ended up deciding to order it online myself, and unfortunately I do not plan to return to this store.

First ever visit to Michaels today and it was the best experience!!! Cat helped me and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was so polite, sweet, and extremely helpful. She went to help me in looking for a specific chalk paint which we couldn’t find. She then offered to go to the back to search and came back with more than I expected. Cat absolutely went the extra mile and saved the day. That woman deserves a raise or promotion or both! She even told me about the perks in signing up with my email. Will definitely be a return customer, just hoping I shop when Cat is there to help!!!! ♥️

On March 31, 2026 I was sold a 50 dollar gift card that is 2 years EXPIRED! I OPENED the card TODAY (4/12/26 as of writing this) and there’s no money on it, because ITS EXPIRED. When I go not even two weeks later (which falls under their 60 day return policy), I ask to speak to a manager (Jan) and she basically says that there’s nothing they can do, and walks away from me. Michaels STOLE 50 dollars from me. I can’t exchange, or refund it. I had the receipt and everything. It clearly states that it expires 12/24, and yet they keep that on their shelves?? Are they trying to steal money from their customers? After saying “there’s nothing I can do” she proceeds to tell me to call the number on the card (spoiler alert, I called 5 times). You know what I heard? Nothing. The number doesn’t work. I am very displeased, and ashamed that they can’t even take the expired gift cards off of their shelves. It really shows you how hard they work here. If you need to get your balloons filled up, or are feeling crafty, take your business to another Michaels. Or better yet, go to Hobby Lobby it’s much better anyway.

It has not even been a full week and the service at this Michaels location is still disappointing. First visit Last Sunday I went into the Michaels at Dorman Centre in Spartanburg. I had some questions about an item since I do not shop at this location or particular store often. I noticed an employee nearby putting out merchandise, so I said “Excuse me.” At first she did not respond. I repeated myself, this time in an even more gentle but polite voice. She finally turned to me and said “What?” with an irritated look, like I was bothering her. That interaction made me uncomfortable and I ended up leaving without finding what I needed. Second visit A few days later I decided to give the store another try since the item I was looking for showed up as in stock online. The moment I walked in, there was no greeting, no eye contact, no sense of welcome. I found one item on my own, but when I needed help finding another, I had to wait for the employees to finish their conversation at the front of the store. I finally saw one employee away from the bunch. I asked her for help for what I was needing , she walked ahead of me quickly to point out a general area that might help. Her attitude
