I had a very disappointing experience at the Hattiesburg Michaels location recently. I shop here frequently and have generally had positive experiences, especially with one employee at the front who is always kind and helpful. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. After searching the store for reversible tweezers and being unable to find them, I approached two employees who were standing together blowing up balloons, including the assistant manager. I politely asked where I could find reversible tweezers, and both employees immediately told me the store did not carry them. When I mentioned that they are a common craft item and asked if they were sure, I was again told they did not have them. A short time later, I located the reversible tweezers myself in the store. Wanting to politely show the employees what the item was and where it had been located, I returned and held the package up from several feet away so they could read it. The younger employee responded pleasantly, but the assistant manager became immediately hostile, refused to look, and accused me of “putting it in his face,” which is completely false. I bought a gift for Christmas and after received was told it didn't really operate for what they wanted it for The floor manager helped me get it returned.

The manager on Saturday, Jan. 24, was very rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. I’ve never been treated with such disdain for trying to get clarification on a sale ad. I asked for his name but he replied that I didn’t need his name. I asked twice but he refused to give his name. I don’t normally complain, but I called the customer service number. My information was taken and told me that the district manager would call within 48 hours. I never got a call. Apparently, the management at Michael’s doesn’t care and has better things to do. After leaving Michael’s without purchasing my items, I went to Hobby Lobby and discovered the same products at half the price. Thank you for being rude, I saved some money (even with the $10 gift coupon that Michaels customer service sent for my bad experience) and will not return to Michael’s at Hattiesburg nor any other location.

Flower and balloons. My son's Senior Night. It was beautiful. The woman was very nice and helped me chose the balloons. Was a little pricey compared to the other store I went to later. It was ok. Neat and welcoming. They have varieties of flowers balloons and Halloween stuffs. The store was neat. I will recommend it to anyone who needs anything from the store. The price. The woman was very nice. She was helpful.

I find something everything I go. Love the app for coupons and rewards . Gotten some good free stuff 😁 They have plenty of stock on most everything . Staff is always helpful and nice . Prices are average to most places.
