Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. It has a Google rating of 3.7 out of 5, though from only 3 reviews so far, so treat the score as an early indication rather than a verdict.
Freehold is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Freehold is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I recently became a dog owner from a relative who could no longer care for their dog due to illness. I found Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers on Google and was very impressed with the service we received. Our groomer for Dusty was Mars and she was just wonderful! Dusty took to her right away . After speaking with Mars and told her we wanted the Lucky Charm package, we discussed the haircut for Dusty. Although we didn't know exactly what we needed to do, Mars did a fantastic job! Dusty came out looking like a rockstar and smelled great too! I would definitely recommend Lucky Dog and Mars as well. She was so personable and easy for our dog feel comfortable with, we felt very relaxed about getting Dusty his first haircut in a long time.

Last night, I Googled mobile dog groomers because I needed my Lab/German Shepherd, Canik, bathed and his nails trimmed ASAP. He was going to be riding in the car with us, and we definitely did NOT want that “corn chip” smell coming along for the ride! 😂🐶 I was SO lucky to find Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers! I was able to book an appointment last minute, and they got me in at 8:45 AM! I soooo appreciate that!! 🙌🏽 Sarah arrived right on time and was very thorough in explaining the grooming package. She was super friendly and sweet with Canik, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. And the results were EXCELLENT! 👏🏽 Canik came out fresh, clean, and smelling SO good! 🥰 His nails were trimmed AND filed, so now he won’t scratch me up when he jumps on me! 😂 I absolutely LOVE the convenience of having a groomer come right to your home, and the service was wonderful from beginning to end. I will definitely be using Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers in the future! Thank you, Sarah, for taking such great care of my big boy! ❤️🐾 Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointed. Scheduled my first appointment and they canceled 30 mins before the scheduled time after I received a text telling me they were on their way. We rescheduled for 2 days later and while I received a text saying they were running 30 minutes behind, they never showed. I called 2.5 hours after my appt time and was told someone would get in touch with me. Then they said they could come a little later in the day but I wasn’t going to be home so that didn’t work. Very disappointed with the customer service, communication and scheduling needless to say.
