About Lookin Ruff
A home based grooming salon with our focus being your pet.
Lookin Ruff is a pet groomer in Garner, North Carolina. It is listed at 213 Artesian Dr, Garner, NC 27529, which places it among the local businesses of Garner that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Thursday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 264-5813. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 70 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Garner.

I’ve been here twice and each time has been great! My typically anxious dog Athena is already comfortable with them and comes out looking and smelling amazing. It is pretty easy to make an appointment, the groom doesn’t take much time at all and everyone is very nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Garner or Raleigh area!

Took my 5 month old Mini Aussiedoodle puppy Brinkley here. Tiffany and Gill were both wonderful. This was Brinkley’s first time at the groomer. He was very matted and they made him feel comfortable and Gill did a fantastic job grooming him. Brinkley will definitely be going back for future appointments. Love supporting this local business as well.

Wonderful first time at a groomer. Very personal and private environment for the pets. Would go back for sure. Had a nice time meeting Jill and talking. She let me be hands on and help with our puppy. Absolutely 💯 and above. I will tell all my friends about her and refer others to her most definitely.

Awesome groomer. I waited a little too long to bring my 6 month old Portuguese Water Dog to the groomer for the first time so I know she was wiggly & a little difficult to groom. Very happy to have found a patient groomer. Ruby looks & smells so good, I am so happy with her cut. It’s all I’ve talked about. Will definitely be bringing Ruby back! Adding before & after pictures
