In Clayton, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Missouri, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Clayton is in Missouri, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Clayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I emailed the business 11d ago but no one felt like responding. I'll post it here: Good morning, I have never had my dog into your store before. She just had a birthday and I thought it would be good to bring her in for a consult/groom and some treats - so I scheduled for the next available time, which was almost a month out. I had an ongoing conversation with one of your employees in a text thread where we talked about dates/times and I had sent my dog's vaccination records in pdf format. Someone hearted my last message. Yesterday, I brought my 13yo airedale in for her appointment. My boyfriend lives in Clayton, but I live in Crestwood - so I left work, drove to Clayton, came into the store where a woman told me that check in was downstairs. I asked if there was an easier way to get down there as my dog doesn't handle stairs well anymore, and she told me there was a parking lot at ground level around the back. This would have been great information to have prior to arrival. So I went outside and walked around the entire block to enter the building for check in. The same woman from upstairs met us downstairs and immediately, without even asking my name, told me that my appointm

I have two Pekingese boys who are 4 and 5 years old and this has been the BEST grooming experience I've had since having them! They both came out happy and super clean. Each dog had their own groomer for the day and both groomers did an incredible job considering how rough they were when I brought them in. Their paw pads are now the softest I've ever felt them and are trimmed to perfection. Sanitary areas are adequately trimmed as well and not too short to cause razor burn like we've previously experienced at past groomers. I'm just so happy with how they turned out, I had to come write a review. The shop is amazing as well. The ladies working helped me find the perfect treats and a toy for the boys. Thanks so much guys!

Brought my dog for the first time for a walk-in nail trim/grind. Every team member that saw my dog gave us a warm welcome, but gave her appropriate space since she was overexcited. Got setup with rewards and went home with a gift bag that had stuff that was actually useful. Bought some extra goodies and noticed they carry food brands I trust. Thank you!

Lola and Penelope’s is by far my favorite pet boutique and salon in St. Louis. The store is spacious and comfortable and filled with cute and useful things for pet owners and the staff is amazing! Erin has helped me on multiple occasions helping me find the best groomer for my dog, treats and toys they will love, and finding food solutions! Eli and I visit L&P at least once a month for grooming and Eli is always excited to see Erin, Jennifer, and all his friends at Lola’s!
