It is absolutely devastating when you have to put your animal down. Dr. Lewis and his receptionist made this hard time much easier. I am extremely grateful for their care, compassion and support during such a hard time.

I took my boy in the second to last week of April because he was acting strange. The doctor believed he had a urinary problem and requested my permission to put a catheter in him to help relieve pain and tension. During this, he advised me that pets sometimes don't make it but he would call me with any updates about him. I agreed and left around 8:45 in the morning as I had taken him in right as they opened. 4:30 comes around and I haven't heard anything. I try to call several times. My boyfriend tries to call several times. Finally, I get them on the line and the receptionist refused to tell me anything. She said 'talk to the guy you were with this morning about it'. We unexpectedly had to put our kitten down. It was horrible. I did not see it coming or handle it well. Lewis was so patient and kind, he explained everything to me so many times. The entire staff made something so horrible manageable.

Dr. Lewis was recommended to me over 5yrs ago and I have been grateful to his care for our dog ever since. He/staff never try to sell you things you don't need. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and direct. His honest prices and walk ins are invaluable as a pet owner!! Never had a bad visit! I recommend him to everyone.
