Omg!! Drove an hour and it was well worth the drive. The assortment of healthy fresh water fish is incredible. Every supply imaginable & the staff is amazing! I have found my forever fish store ❤️ 10 outta 10 recommend! Definitely beats the big box stores

Edited to add: to the stores response, no he’s not dumb and didn’t stop at chipotle, he said by the time he passed by chipotle which is .2 miles away, the bugs had stopped moving. It’s a busy intersection and had to loop back around to go to the store so it took a few minutes to get back. We live 1.5 miles away and began using let’s pet for our bearded dragon needs. We’ve done lots of research and we’re grateful to find this place locally as a quick stop for bugs and other needs as we prefer to shop small. They seemed knowledgeable and helpful to our questions. Today my husband went and bought 2 dozen dubia roaches. They all died before he got home, the 5 minute drive, probably less. We keep a terrarium at home for them and just use a normal bug bag to transport as it’s so close by. We’ve never had an issue. My husband turned back around to ask if we could get new ones as they didn’t even make it home and they said no, there was nothing they could do. If it’s so hot they can’t make it 5 minutes, the “experts” should have recommended we come back with the terrarium or come back when cooler, but instead have lost repeat customers.

We went around looking for a ferret and this was the only place that keeps them in store. Everyone working was very helpful even on a crowded weekend. Place has been a staple of Winston for years and I've always found everything I've needed here. From birds, reptiles, fish and now ferrets. Staff is great and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys Ralphie is now home and happily with his older friend Peanut 🥜

Got a glimpse of him last week. Just enough to know he was male. Bought him yesterday and as soon as he hit the tank, he hid. I FINALLY got a good view of him, took several pics, zoomed in, and suddenly... he who was not named had a name. Meet Nick Fury. I am absolutely in love. This little quirk just made him my favorite fish. Thanks Let's Pet.

We were in the area and my daughter wanted to stop in here and check on some items for her geckos. When you walk inside, its very, very crowded and almost claustrophobic with customers, lot of products as well as aquarium, cages, terrariums with fish, birds, snakes, small animals and others. We will try to visit again but during the week.
