One of my favorite humane societies. We've been doing the spays and neuters here for years. We also love adopting from them. One of the few places left that don't want a kidney, the signed Declaration of Independence, and the blood of a unicorn to adopt.

I used to admire this organization I have been a follower and supporter for years. I messaged them to try and set up something because I wanted to show support. Instantly got blocked. No reply. No professionalism. No anything just blocked. This is not what I expected from an organization that is supposed to be saving lives and helping animals. Never have I experienced such disrespect with any other organization or shelter I have talked to. Very heartbreaking and this has made me shocked and broke my trust and faith in this organization. They could have at least said no or something but blocking someone who is asking to support is crazy and very unprofessional. I would not trust them to take care of the live of animals if they cant even have common decency. Most shelters love the support and love people promoting them. I guess LHS is just not a professional Humane Society.

We adopted an amazingly awesome cat from this humane society. We looked at the cats they had available. We found a few we thought might match what we were looking for. We also went over to the cat cafe they are associated with. We ultimately went back to the humane society and looked at the few we thought might fit what we were looking for. The staff went above and beyond to help us. They let us interact with the cats and answered our questions as best they could. We ultimately settled on one of the cats and they guided us through the adoption. The process was extremely easy. We wanted a specific sticker but they didn't have them on hand due to the fact that they had gone to an event the day before. The staff sent the sticker to us. I will always recommend this humane society to adopt from. We are more than happy with the cat we brought home!

Our adoption coordinator, Lexi, was so nice and super helpful in getting us the perfect cat for our family! The adoption process was very smooth. The facilities were clean and you can tell the staff really cares. I highly recommend this shelter.

Amazing, funny, and kind staff! Our adoption person was so kind, honest, and knowledgeable in our new kitty’s history. They answered all our questions and gave us the resources we needed to take Bella (our stinky new kitty) home. From start to finish we had a great experience at LHS. They definitely love there animals there and want the best for their future. Thank you LHS!
