The groomer told me he had no trouble handling my dog during the appointment and suggested the grooming chain restraint was responsible. However, that doesn’t explain why my dog’s behavior changed immediately afterward. He had been going there for years without any issues. Since that visit, he has been fearful of being touched around his neck, and we found redness and abrasions after picking him up (photos attached). I can only speak to what I observed before and after the visit, and based on that experience, I will not be returning.

If you care about your pet, please find another groomer. My mom took her pet here and the poor dog was nicked many times. She’s a schnauzer/terrier mix and is very fearful, but not the kind to snip or bite. She tucks her tail and will submit. She’s a senior dog and has never had behavior problems, so we know she wasn’t fighting or moving around to get cut so many times. They almost shaved her too, preventing her from being able to regulate her body temperature. After (for several days), she was clammy and shaky from lack of hair/coat. The other thing that was very upsetting is they cut her whiskers (sensory organs). This is a big no! If these people knew what they were doing, they’d have better treatment of animals and knowledge/education regarding these things. All that to say, please don’t take your pets here. 😞

I took my two dogs, Mochi (Shih Tzu) and Miklo (Pitbull), to Koko’s and I’m really happy with how everything went! It’s not easy finding a groomer who accepts pitbulls, but they welcomed Miklo with kindness and care. Both dogs came out looking and smelling amazing! The staff was patient, professional, and you can tell they truly love what they do. They answered my late message and were able to make an appointment the next day (on a Sunday!!) I’ll definitely be bringing them back!

We went here an emergency grooming on 8/7 We are so appreciative that he saw the dogs same day! They turned out so great we are very pleased with how they turned out ☺️ we will definitely be returning here. The owner was very nice he worked very hard on our dogs thanks again Alavifio

Do not take your pets there worst service ever. Took her to get a bath and a grooming service for them cut my shitzu she was bleeding you can see where she was licking the spots and got blood stains around her fur. Can’t believe they won’t accept it was them and not telling me anything about them cutting her. Never going back not recommended at all good luck taking your pets there.
