Absolutely loved our experience! I brought my 6 month old puppy in for grooming today, and she left happy and looking beautiful! The groomer was so kind, patient, and helpful and even took the time to give me some great training tips, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve brought my dog, Oliver, to Kirkwood several times for baths and nail trims. Although he gets nervous going in, the amazing staff is always patient and caring, which puts me at ease. He comes out looking fantastic every time. Their services are a little pricey, but after trying a cheaper groomer outside the city, I learned that you get what you pay for. I trust Kirkwood with Oliver’s care and won’t take him anywhere else.

I usually take Yogi to Petco, but I decided to try this place because they had appointments available sooner and were much closer to home. Yes, it’s definitely a bit more bougie, but honestly it was worth it. This was the first time in a long time that Yogi came out looking beautiful and noticeably less stressed. Tara took such great care of her. My photos don’t even do the haircut justice. She gave Yogi the cutest summer cut, leaving hair around her legs, bum, and face so she looked like a little teddy bear with a poodle-style trim. I never mentioned that I like Yogi’s eyelashes a bit longer, but Tara somehow figured it out and trimmed them perfectly. What really stood out was the communication. Tara kept texting me throughout the appointment to keep me in the loop, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back. So happy we found this place!

Absolutely horrible! and I hope that nobody trusts their dog to have grooming here unless they want their dog leaving with cuts all over. Firstly, we were not able to get the haircut service that we wanted although having booked it. Secondly, when we left our dog for the basic bath+nail trimming and very easy hairncutting we were told that it was going to take an hour to an hour and a half, this ended up taking well over two and a half hours and only because we were interrupting and checking in on the dog. The other dogs there kept crying and we now know why. When we picked up our dog from such a basic thing, she had cuts all over her body, she also had deep cuts on her paws and was clearly in shock. We ended up having to cut her hair ourselves and did a much better job. This place absolutely horribe! So many cuts all over our puppy and just everything was horrible. Overpriced as well. Avoid at all costs.

We have brought our Samoyed here for multiple groomings in the past 3 years. For anyone who has a double coated dog, I would suggest booking one of the experienced groomers like Rieka. When we had an issue in the past, the business manager was able to quickly address and receive feedback, which was greatly appreciated.
