Keshlyn Kennel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars is an understatement! It is incredibly rare to find a local small business with the depth of heart, history, and dedication that Keshlyn Kennel brings to the Lexington community. Having served local pet parents for an incredible 50 years—and now beautifully carried on by the second generation of the same family—they have truly mastered the art of pet care. You have to figure that after five decades, a business has figured out how to get just about everything exactly right, and Keshlyn absolutely has. The facilities are beautifully laid out, exceptionally well-kept, and spotlessly maintained. More importantly, their dedication to safety standards and protocols is flawless, giving you total peace of mind whenever your beloved pet is in their care. It is a wonderful, top-tier business run by people who genuinely love what they do. Lexington is incredibly lucky to have them. We at the Final Ride proudly support and recommend Keshlyn Kennel to all of our pet parent friends.

I rarely ever leave a review but I had to, to warn other customers of my recent experience. I have been boarding my dogs for a couple years now at Keshlyn Kennel and they have always been super amazing at taking care of my 2 small dogs until recently. I tried to board my dogs for 5 days in August 2025 and was told that they are no longer boarding dogs 12 years and older. This policy isn't located anywhere on their website. I honestly feel and believe that they are discriminating against myself and my dogs because they recently stayed for 2 weeks in July 2025 with no issues other than having to put padding on the walls due one of my dogs being blind. I have spent literally thousands of dollars here and have been a loyal respectful customer for years. BEWARE IF YOU ARE TRYING TO ESTABLISH CARE FOR YOUR DOGS WHILE OUT OF TOWN DO NOT USE THEM. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN RULES AND POLICIES AND THEY ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERY CUSTOMER/DOG.

I'm extremely satisfied with the kennel service my dog has been attending. The facility is lovely, with plenty of open spaces for my dog to run and play. The staff is kind, caring, and genuinely passionate about providing top-notch care. The prices are reasonable, and most importantly, my dog always seems happy and content when he returns home. I highly recommend this kennel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable place to board their furry friend. The staff's dedication to animal care is truly evident, and I'm grateful to have found such a great service.

We can always trust Keshlyn to take great care of our furbabies while we are away. I love seeing the pictures of them happy & running during play time. It’s hard leaving our dogs with someone else but I know they’re in good hands!

I left both my labs here for a week. It was their first time boarding. I can tell both my labs had a good time at the kennel. They were taken care very well.
