The veterinarians and staff have been wonderful with our rescue pittie's care. Kenwood has been sensitive that we have little background information to share. They acknowledged our pittie's anxiousness and take time with her. They also follow-up after procedures to make certain she is recovering.

The vets and staff at Kenwood Animal Hospital took care of our dog, Charsi for the 15 years of her life starting when she was an 8 week old puppy. Most recently Dr. Schultz was her primary vet. The care that we received for Charsi for 15 years went beyond keeping her well and treating her various ailments. It included compassionate support from all of the staff and the amazing management skills of Bonnie at the front desk. Bonnie is a true gem as a manager and as a person. Eventually we had to put our beautiful pup to sleep at age 15 years. it was the hardest day of my life because I loved and still love her dearly. My son, who just graduated from vet school, came with me that day and he told me it was the most compassionate and peaceful goodby that he has ever witnessed. I shared my pain with Bonnie who was so compassionate and supportive as was Ashley and all the staff. They sent a beautiful card, knowing how deeply sad I was even though I knew it was necessary to relieve my darling dog from pain. I will never forget the years of tender and skilled care and the genuine compassion.

Good place to leave your cat while traveling. The staff are attentive, calm, polite and kind. We noticed the cat boarding quarter was a bit too quiet and unremarkable. The room felt a bit stuffed and warm/ humid, but when we brought our cat, the room didnot have other cats in it. So, I suspect they turned the AC up when it was empty and would regulate the climate better when the cat was placed in it. Cats are kept on relatively small, albeit two-compartment, cages, but there is a large open space in front of the cages for cats to walk and play. Our cat reacted stressfully when put in the cage, but it was his first time in the boarding facility, and he is less than 1 year old. Overall I think this place is good for boarding a cat, and the price is reasonable.

Fantastic staff! Want to especially thank Ashley, who went out of her way to make sure I had all the information and resources which proved very helpful. A genuinely wonderful person! Our veterinarian, Dr. Croen, was very thorough and professional. She was very gentle with my over excited doggie. Our nurse was also extremely nice and gained my doggie's confidence immediately. Overall a very comforting experience. All the people involved were exceptional.

The staff at Kenwood is so pleasant and the doctors are great - really work to figure out what is going on with our little poodle, who is very anxious going to the vet. She has boarded there as well and came back happy, well-fed, and healthy. It is not cheap but they are lovely people, give great care, they are conveniently located, and run on time. I think it's worth it.
