Family owned and operated, located on our residential property in Omaha, Ne, we are a small, non-traditional, boarding option for you and your furry family. Our mission has always been to create a space your dog is excited to come to and hesitant to leave. We are not a typical kennel, more of a home-away-from-home. Think of us as a Dog Boarding Boutique!

5 stars — Highly recommend! As a first-time dog parent, leaving my one-and-a-half-year-old Shih Tzu with anyone else was terrifying — she'd never stayed anywhere but home before. Katie's Kennel completely put my mind at ease. My vacation ended up running much longer than planned due to storms and flight cancellations, and Katie's Kennel handled the extra time without any stress at all. They sent me pictures of my sweet girl throughout her stay, which meant the world to me while I was stuck away from home. You could tell she was genuinely well cared for the whole time. If you're nervous about leaving your dog with someone — like I was — I can't recommend Katie's Kennel enough. They treated my girl like family, and I'll absolutely be using them again.

Over the years, I tried several different kennels, but there was always something that left me feeling a little uneasy about each stay. A friend recommended Katie's Kennel about a year ago, and I'll never take my dogs anywhere else. The facility is fantastic, with so many different areas for the dogs to explore and enjoy. The staff is professional, caring, and truly wonderful with the dogs. My dogs just finished a nine day stay, and the only thing I worried about was whether they'd even want to come home after having so much fun! It's such a relief to leave town knowing they're well cared for and having a great time!

This is Louie (age 15 1/2) and we’ve been taking him to Katie’s Kennel in Omaha since 2017. We love Katie and Josh (Owners) and believe they really care about the dogs taken there for kenneling. We enjoy seeing the pics they post occasionally of the dogs on FB. We never worry about the care Louie is receiving and since Louie takes meds for seizures, we are confident they give him the meds we leave with them. Their employees they have had over the years are definitely dog lovers and do a wonderful job of caring for the dogs. We just picked up Louie yesterday from KK (he was there 4 nights) and will never take him anywhere else! Thank you Katie’s Kennel! - Shirley M

I've been bringing my dog to Katie's Kennels for a few years and their service is unmatched. They take the best care of the dogs of anyplace I've ever been. I love that they only allow certain windows of time to bring dogs in so that they aren't overwhelmed when they come into the kennel. Charlotte (my dog) loves her stays there and is always excited when she figures out that we're on our way there!

We have been using Katie's Kennels for 8 years now and they are simply fantastic! They take such good care of our dog and anyone we have ever referred feels the same way. They are incredible and always try their best to make sure the experience is a great one for both the owners and the pets!
