About Karabu Pet Grooming

Located at 4201 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712, Karabu Pet Grooming operates as a pet groomer serving Tucson in Arizona. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Karabu Pet Grooming at (520) 325-3880; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 228 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Tucson and suggests consistent service.

Tucson is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Getting around Tucson is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Arizona's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great price, and they did an amazing job with my two kitties! One got a bath and brush, and the other got a bath and lion cut. They also included paw pad trims, sanitary trims, and nail clipping for both cats. The total came to $180, which is incredible. I was paying almost that much per cat at my previous groomer. The value here is hard to beat. What I appreciate most is the peace of mind. With prices this reasonable, I can afford to bring my senior boys in more regularly. They're getting older and don't groom themselves as well as they used to, so having an affordable, reliable groomer makes a huge difference.

Took my Aussie in last week because he had long thick hair and was hot and shedding all over my house. They did not shave away the undercoat but skillfully clipped him and brushed him thoroughly. Both Buddy and I are deeply appreciative.

I’ve been coming here for years. I first found them when I had my Persian cat who needed regular grooming. Not all groomers do cats, but they do and they do a wonderful job. I also take my dog here a few times a year. I have new cats with long hair and they do a nice brush out, clip the nails and shave a poop shoot. They’re nice, reliable and the price is right. I love supporting this local small business.

Karabu groomers are absolutely fantastic! We took our two long haired cats to get lion cuts for the summer and take care of some matting and they did a phenomenal job. They took them together and worked with them even when one was being difficult. Their cuts look amazing and they're happy to be free from all that hair. Highly reccomend Karabu Pet Grooming!

I've taken my dog here twice now. Both times have been great. I tired this place because they had early appointments available when other groomers don't, I like that. Charlie comes out looking and smelling like a handsome new pup!
