About Kalico Luxury Dog Spa

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Kalico Luxury Dog Spa at (336) 355-2188; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, kalicoluxurydogspa.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 23 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Trinity and suggests consistent service.
Trinity is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Trinity follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We took are fur babies to Kalico Luxury Dog Spa today . Our first time there and the first time that Mia ( the fawn colored chihuahua on the left )and Lillie ( the black chihuahua on the right ) have ever .. yes ever have been to a groomer. Ms Martie and I were a little skeptical at first . We thought it would be difficult for the girls ( Mia and Lillie ) to be cooperative. Well let’s say it went much better than we expected. Kali was wonderful with them . She was very impressive, kind , knowledgeable and a delight to do business with. We are very grateful for the excellent and professional service. We will be back . Highly recommend her and her wonderful assistant that I’m sorry to say I didn’t get her name .

We love Kali! I’ve got an anxious little guy, and I know without a doubt that my Lewey is in great hands with Kali. Our search for a groomer was over after our first visit with her and we’re five years and counting! She always does such a great job.

Kali is the absolute BEST!! We have a very sensitive dog who would be depressed and anxious for days after being groomed elsewhere- before we found Kali. Now he comes home with his tail wagging and completely clam. Kali has a gift that is undeniable. I would, and I do, recommend her and her grooming salon to anyone and everyone!

I was left speechless (in a good way) today after picking up my Nola from a groom with Kali. Nola is a newfoundland, so she is double coated; sometimes a challenge for groomers, but not Kali. She did an absolutely amazing job on my girl. She has been fully de-shed and she is sparkly-clean. What I am most happy about is that Kali was able to trim Nola's paw pads and feet, as well as dremmel her nails. For years, Nola has not let anyone cut her nails. I tried so many things; medication, vet visits, positive reinforcement at home...I had finally resorted to getting her put fully to sleep at the vet in order to have her feet done. I gave Nola her relaxing medications as usual in the morning to prepare her for the groom, and Kali was able to do Nola's feet without any issue. I cried when she told me she was able to do this. I'm so happy that I found Kali and that she does a wonderful job with both of my Newfoundlands. If you are anywhere remotely close to Trinity, NC, I would highly consider having Kali take care of your pups.
