It’s a hard no for me to return. i asked for a doodle cut and showed pictures. She said no problem. Booked and went back to drop off my dog. When I picked him up, he had a poodle cut, not a doodle cut. I get the owner loves her poodle but not everyone wants toes showing, even as I showed her pom pom style paws. His head was a big round puff. Again not like the photo. I got him home and he was exhausted and stressed. How long was he on that grooming table? Hours! For nearly $300 it was the most ridiculous cut ever. Don’t groom a doodle if you don’t know how and charge me a ridiculous amount to get back and Pood-Dood. I busted out scissors and fixed his head myself. Toes, eek at least hair grows back. Way too full of herself. There are a lot of groomers to choose from other than here. You can’t move to Hawaii and act all high and mighty talking so much about your dog. Then try to make my dog look like yours

Very happy with the service Kailua Pets provided! Everything flowed smoothly from booking to pickup. Donna took great care of my 4 month old puppy and spent the time to understand what I was looking for. The website was great for easy scheduling, and I appreciated that the pricing was clear and transparent. Overall 10/10 experience and my pup looks fantastic!!

Our pup developed some trauma from some inexperienced Petco groomers here on island, and we were unsure if we could find a groomer for her since she is now skittish and jumpy with clippers. On Kailua Pets website the say they met your pet where they are at and I will say this is 100% true. Donna did a phenomenal job on our Bernedoodle and she made sure she was comfortable by having me stay in the room with her. I did stay for the whole groom and learned a lot from Donna while there. She is a very patient and gentle groomer who will 100% meet your fur baby where they are at! Donna's prices may seem high for a groom when you compare them to Petco, but with Kailua Pets it is well worth it to know your getting a quality cut from a proven prefessional.

Donna was so patient and kind with my dog who is nervous and had never been to the groomer before. I was updated the whole time, and Donna made sure I felt comfortable dropping off my little monster. The facility is incredibly clean and well kept. This was my first time and I will absolutely be returning. My dog can be a little reactive demon but Donna handled her with grace and care. Can’t recommend enough.

We had an amazing experience with Kailua Pets! At 11 years old, this was Poki’s first-ever grooming session. For years we bathed/trimmed him ourselves but after being unable to get some of his more difficult areas, or deal with him growling at times, we finally decided to go with a professional. Donna did a wonderful job & was able to calm Poki down/implement healthy boundaries within one session. It was incredible to watch he trim the bottom of his paws without any fuss at all. Poki has never looked better & it was clear that he felt great too! Looking forward to regular visits & highly recommend that you give it a try too! Life changing :)
