Towson is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Towson follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our experience with Megan has truly been life changing because were close to rehoming our sweet, high-energy 1-year-old lab mix because of unsafe jumping and hard leash pulling with small kids and a baby on the way. After doing a board and train period with Megan we have seen huge improvements and now have no doubt that we can manage all of these situations and rehoming is out of the question. Megan’s initial consultation was so thorough, she listened to my concerns and our specific family circumstances and tailored a plan for us. We honestly saw improvements after the consultation (see my comments about the feeding protocol below which she taught us during the consultation). We ended up choosing a short (6 day) board and train stay, and even though Megan was honest that there were limitations to what she could achieve in that brief period, she still delivered remarkable progress, and Megan’s plan and discharge instructions have been invaluable in helping us manage the behaviors that might still come up. After board and train we saw an immediate reduction in all concerning behaviors, general obedience, and self settling. Megan communicated frequently throughout the board and tr

I cannot say enough amazing things about K9dness and its owner, Megan Pilachowski. From the moment I met Megan, I knew my dogs were in the best possible hands. I have two English Bulldogs who are truly my babies, and trusting someone with them is not something I take lightly. Megan has completely earned that trust. My dogs stay in her home, and I always feel 100% comfortable knowing they are safe, loved, and cared for like they’re her own. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of dog health, behavior, and training. It’s clear she genuinely understands dogs and takes the time to tailor her care to each one’s needs. Beyond that, she is an excellent trainer and communicator—I always know how my dogs are doing and feel fully informed and reassured when they’re with her. What really sets Megan apart is the level of care and attention she gives. My dogs don’t just get watched—they get love, structure, and a safe environment where they thrive. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pets, I would recommend K9dness and Megan without hesitation. She is simply the best.

Highly, highly recommend Megan for dog training!!! We are inexperienced dog owners who adopted a very sweet but very large and rambunctious lab mix and she saved us. He was a terror on the leash (pulling, eating trash etc) and now walks are so pleasant and enjoyable for both of us. Thanks to Megan we were able to start off on the right foot with a solid plan that is paying off. She is also great for boarding and sent tons of videos and photos. It eliminated a lot of travel stress which is priceless. Our family is so grateful!

Megan is phenomenal with animals! We are blown away by the incredible improvement in our (previously) overly anxious, high-energy, nervous system-always-set-to-max kind of pup after just a 2-week board-and-train program with Megan. We absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help bringing out their pet's best self! Megan is the most compassionate, empathetic, and understanding trainer we have ever met. She truly takes the time to truly understand your dog, their needs, and cares for them as her own—qualities she extends to her human clients, too. Our initial consultations provided extremely valuable insights and strategies that immediately helped us manage our pup's triggers and anxiety levels even before the board-and-train program. Megan was never judgmental or pushy, and always honest and upfront. She actually cared about our feelings as dog-parents and worked with us to truly understand our concerns and desires for our pup. We decided on our own that the board-and-train would be the best route for us and our pup. The immersive board-and-train program allowed our pup to flourish under Megan's expert guidance. Our pup now follows basic commands instinctively, exhibits patience

I can’t even recall how I stumbled across Megan when my bulldog Zola was a puppy but I am forever grateful that I did! Zola was perfectly behaved and well socialized her entire life all due to Megan and her tried and true approaches. When we couldn’t make timing work for my next bulldog Zina, I had to go a different route. Well three years later, Zina finally got to go to board and train with Megan and the results are remarkable!! Zina came home so much more calm, walks better on the leash, obedient, and an overall happier pup. Megan’s techniques are top notch and her customer service to both Zina and Mom are superb. She genuinely cares about both of us and that’s so very special. I’ve learned my lesson now…Megan will train and love all my fur babies from here on out. 🐾🦴💕
