⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ashley and the entire team at K9 Nanni in Kearny, NJ. Our Bernedoodle, London, just graduated from their three-week boarding and canine obedience training program, and the experience exceeded our expectations. London came home happy, confident, and with an incredible improvement in her obedience and manners. Just as importantly, it was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed her time there. She made plenty of doggie friends, received wonderful care, and clearly formed a special bond with Ashley. Ashley is an exceptionally talented and truly gifted dog trainer. She has an incredible ability to connect with dogs while combining patience, consistency, affection, and professionalism. What impressed us most was that London didn’t simply learn commands—Ashley helped her understand what was expected of her while allowing London’s happy, affectionate personality to shine through. That takes real talent. K9 Nanni itself is equally impressive. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at K9 Nanni Pawsitive Dog Training! We sent our 9-month-old rescue puppy, Nora, for their three-week board-and-train program after she quickly took charge of our household and needed help with socialization and basic obedience. Since we’ve trusted K9 Nanni for daycare with our older dog for years, it was an easy decision to turn to them for training. Ashley, their head trainer, was incredible—she kept us informed with daily updates, photos, and videos, and met with us weekly to review Nora’s progress and teach us how to continue her training at home. Nora came back still the sweet, loving puppy we adore, but now she’s confident, calm, well-socialized, and an amazing listener. The entire team genuinely cares about the dogs, and it shows. We highly recommend K9 Nanni for both training and daycare—our dogs get excited the moment they realize they’re going!

I can't say enough great things about K9 Nanni. My dog, Archer, can be a bit of a handful when it comes to interacting with other dogs, and the team went above and beyond to make sure he was successful at daycare. Rather than giving up on him, they took the time to understand his personality, work with his high energy, and help him build positive social skills. It's clear that they genuinely care about each dog's individual needs and want them to thrive. I also had the opportunity to work with Victoria for e-collar training, and the results were incredible. In just three sessions, she helped me build the skills and confidence needed to have Archer reliably off leash in a public park - something I honestly never thought would be possible, especially not in 3 weeks! What really set Victoria apart was how invested she was in our success. She never treated sessions like a race against the clock; instead, she made sure we ended at a natural stopping point when Archer was tired, had accomplished what was needed, and when she felt confident that I understood the training concepts and homework to continue practicing on my own. 10/10 I’ve told ALL my dog mom friends about this place! The staff clearly LOVES all of their dogs & pay a special kind of attention to each & everyone’s needs & personality types. Their communication is consistent, the pricing is transparent & they always answer/get back to you. The owner is on site & personally knows her furry ones as well. We heard of this place from a dud of a “trainer” we were previously working with & never looked back. Our 10 month old foxhound was rescued from a bad situation leaving him with fearful aggression & insecurity. We did the 3 week e collar training (daily updates, videos, pics) & each day came home with a changed dog. We can take him on hikes, to beer gardens, parks, even his walks are no stress now. It felt like we got our lives back. As much as our dog needed training, these trainers eased OUR anxiety & trained US. As my partner & I began college & a new job we decided to put him in daycare with transportation. He comes home calm, cuddly & tired, perfect for the end of our days. We’ve planned to give him a monthly sleep over & spa day as well since they offer any service you could need. Thank you guys for everything!

K9 Nanni is the only facility that I trust with my dog. I know he will be safe and well taken care of by the dedicated team of staff, there, and he always comes home happy and tired. Linda, the owner, is amazing. I've also done private training with one of the managers, Ashley, and she has been VERY helpful in managing my dog's behavioral issues. The management staff has gone above and beyond in tailoring training packages to meet my needs and budget. They are very reasonable, and offer great value for your money. I highly recommend this place for your pet(s)!
