We boarded our dog for 7 days while we traveled and we will definitely use K-9 again! The staff are super friendly, the location is secure and clean and well laid out for dogs to have outdoor and indoor time. They provide daily "report cards" where they and pictures and provide eating habit updates ... they even did an art project one day so that, when we picked out dog up, they gave us a card with painted paw prints! Their app is easy to use... highly recommend!

I’ll start with the good - The front end staff did seem very nice. The woman I spoke to on the phone when scheduling a temperament test for daycare was particularly sweet and accommodating. I had two concerns when watching their webcam (which is behind a paywall, albeit it’s pretty inexpensive, but not included like other places): 1. They spritz the dogs with water to reprimand bad behavior. This is something I didn’t think to ask about given that positive reinforcement has become so prominent… I did some Googling and it seems it’s more common in daycare, but when I saw it occur, I could not tell what the dogs were doing wrong. I personally have a very young dog who is still learning right from wrong, so I feel particularly sensitive to him getting sprayed and not knowing why, but it was a behavior I thought other pet parents may want to be aware of. Totally understand this may come down to personal preference. ** I did want to edit this for further information following the owner’s response. I've used K9 Castle for over 5 years now, and they are truly the best people. Both dogs I've taken are always ecstatic to be dropped off, and have come home happy and tired. I trusted them with my senior dog and now I trust them with my new puppy. They treat your dogs better than royalty– they treat them like family.

After doing ton of research, i found k-9 castle in Lakewood, for my dog Bentley he is a 10 months Great Pyrenees. We have been using the daycare services and I’m so happy, Bentley is tired when i pick him up, i can watch him playing through the cameras ( as an obsessed dog mom this is my favorite thing) , they have extremely convenient schedules, we are honestly so relieved that we found k-9 castle for my pup!

We have used K9 castle’s services for over a year and daily doggy care 20+ times. Our Winston always comes back tired and happy. Staff are attentive and truly care about each dog. Would recommend to anyone.
