JRK9 Dog Training

We sent our Bichon - Benji for two weeks of training. John and Rebecca were great, very knowledgeable, and patient to answer my millions of questions. With their training, you also receive follow up in home sessions to work with your dog and the trainer. This has been great to ensure we continue to keep up training ourselves and ensure we are doing it correctly with Benji. All to say we highly recommend!

JRK9 has made being first time dog parents SO much better! No amount of training videos and puppy blogs prepared us for training the way JRK9 did. From the initial puppy consultation, to the 3 week board and train, and now the follow up one on one sessions, we have had incredible support from the team. It is so important to us that Luka, our ginormous German Shepherd, be well trained, but also that we truly understand the proper way to communicate and teach him along the way. Joe and Rebecca have shown us such patience (coming from a helicopter dog mom) and professionalism. We can’t wait to keep working with them. A huge plus that they also board the dogs they’ve trained, Luka can’t get out of the car fast enough when we drop him off!

Joseph, Rebecca, and the JRK9 team are very patient and comforting to both my dog and family as we get more involved with our dog’s training! Training a dog, especially mine being 6 years old, is not something that can be done overnight. It is a journey that requires commitment by the dog parents too and JRK9 is there for us along the way. We decided on the 3-week boarding and training package and I immediately noticed how much my dog was more obedient with walking and placement. Additionally, JRK9 provided material for my wife and I to learn about the training process and we have a 12 month timeframe to experience one-on-one training to reinforce the 3-week boarding training and to learn new techniques. We are only 2 months into this training journey and look forward to more one-on-one trainings with the JRK9 team!

I’m still working through training with my dog, Martin, but I couldn’t be happier with the experience so far! The foundation they built while Martin was boarding has made such a huge difference—it’s made continuing his training at home so much easier. He still has some progress to make, but I feel incredibly confident that Joseph and Rebecca will help us get there. They’ve been amazing to work with—super responsive, supportive, and always willing to answer my many questions. I highly, highly recommend them!

JRK9 is a top notch facility! They made me feel comfortable leaving my Corgi puppy with them. I'm very happy with my puppy's training progress. He's a different little guy and gets along with our other dogs better now. The trainers were phenomenal and very professional! They not only trained my puppy but trained me, as well. I had online homework to complete which was very informative. I would recommend Joseph and Rebecca to anyone that wants a well trained family member!
