In Knoxville, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Tennessee, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Knoxville is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Knoxville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Tennessee's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The staff was so kind! They were very reassuring and quick with our 90 lb dog baby that hates getting her nails done. They did an amazing job!! Thank you so very much. Would definitely recommend. $20 for walk in for nail trim-worth it!

4/23/26 Update to Your Response: Thank you for taking the time to reply to my review. However, I believe there may be a mix-up with my account, as the details in your response do not match our experience, including the dates you referenced. Our last few visit was for a full groom, not just a bath and nail trim service as you had mentioned. Finally, It’s important that you ensure your facts and customer information are accurate. “We’ve been bringing our medium size dog here for several years, but unfortunately our recent experiences haven’t been the same as in past visits. At our last visit. I gave specific grooming instructions and they were not followed at all. While the grooming staff appears to be the same from when the previous owner ran things, the overall quality, attention to detail, and customer experience have noticeably changed. The atmosphere and attitude feel different, and prices have increased as well. Based on the last few visits, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere.

I love my groomer Katie — she always takes great care of my 5 lb Yorkie and does a really nice, clean job every time. He usually gets a basic trim with a face cleanup, nails, and glands, and I’m always happy with how he looks when I pick him up. Prices have gone up recently, which made me pause a little at first, especially since he keeps a shorter coat. But after comparing with other places, I can see that the pricing is pretty standard for a full grooming service. Overall, the quality, consistency, and care Katie provides really stand out, and that’s something that’s important to me.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. They did an amazing job his nails were perfectly trimmed, he smells incredible, and he looks so fresh and happy. On top of that, they surprised us with a free Christmas bandana and even took a Christmas photo of him and sent it to me, which absolutely made my day. You can tell they truly care about the dogs and treat them like their own. If you’re looking for groomers who are professional, kind, and go above and beyond, this is the place. Hands down the best groomers out there. Bagheera will definitely be coming back!
