Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Bozeman is in Montana, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Getting around Bozeman is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Montana's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Five years ago Invisible Fence of Bozeman installed an invisible fence around our property which sits in the Beartooth Mountain foothills outside of Red Lodge. It has effectively kept our large Great Pyrenees within the boundaries of home all this time. But we were especially impressed earlier this summer when a large grizzly bear strolled past our garage, just outside the invisible fence perimeter. We watched our large Great Pyrenees, bred for protecting the herd, mount a furious charge racing across the yard at the bear but then come to an abrupt halt precisely at the fence line. The bear walked on. The dog eventually sat and watched. Happy ending.

Invisible Fence of the Big Sky is awesome! They have been wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful! We’ve had the fence for 6 years and live in an area that has very active tree growth as well as lots of voles who like to eat the wire. Jon was here late last night to help fix some issues. He was extremely helpful and has always been so. We have been very happy with their service, responsiveness and that leads to happy dogs! You can’t go wrong with these great people!

My husband and I had decided to try GPS dog collars for our puppy. For those collars, the directions were poor; the boundary perimeter would keep changing, and one brand’s collar would just keep turning off even after we received replacement collars. After expressing my extreme frustration with these GPS collars, a friend suggested we try Invisible Fence of the Big Sky. We did, and I only wish we would have started out with Jon and his Invisible Fence. We would not have wasted so much time in trying to work with those collars. Jon came out, and we laid out the boundary perimeter; he worked with our dog. Jon has checked in with me several times to see how our dog is doing with her boundary. We so appreciate Jon’s work ethic and his care that we are happy with his product. We are also happy that our dog can roam our property and be safe.

I have high praise for Jon at Invisible Fence of the Big Sky. We had a great livestock guardian dog but she was going through another company's underground fence to run down predators. We needed a "re-do" so we called Jon, he installed Invisible Fence along with the equipment that he supplies and our problem was fixed. With Invisible Fence installed on our property, Tali respected her boundaries (as do our other LGDs). She was safely confined and never left the farm again. Jon is reliable, knowledgeable and has always made himself available when we needed him for any kind of maintenance. He was not reluctant to tackle a big job like ours and he stands behind his work. He's a really good guy with a great business! Brooks Watson and Tami Parrott, DVM

Fantastic customer service, very responsive. We live on a working ranch some distance out of town and on the few occasions we’ve had an issue, John and his team will address the problem right away. Before leaving, they will conduct a training session for you and the dog verifying the corrective action was implemented correctly. This provides our family the peace of mind that our pets are safe and so is our livestock. We’ve tried some other home solutions in the past and they didn’t work out in the long term for various reasons. Yes, you can buy systems on Amazon cheaper but you’ll pay for it later and that can be very tragic and or costly for your family. This system works by taking a more holistic approach: the physical system, the dog and you the owner. All three need to be engaged and John’s team uses this approach in setting up your system. Recommend very highly.
