me and my husband bought a cat from PetSmart(they sponsor cats from this shelter) a full week ago and we noticed he was balding around his ears and face, come to find out he had a bad case of fungal infection, mind you all this cat hasn’t been around and other cats since we got him, and he doesn’t go outside so when I took him to the vet it was $100 to just get the test done and they told me to call the shelter to see if they would help me or let there doctor see my cat THEY REFUSED! wouldn’t even take a look even thought they caused .

Friendly staff but we had a meet & greet set up and offered in advance to pay. We were told it wasn’t necessary. We were assured no one could adopt the dog until we had the meeting. Notations were put in the computer with specific instructions not to sell until then. The dog was sold later that day. Manager made that decision. We were given no opportunity to purchase before that decision was made bc we would have gone back and purchased. We weren’t contacted before hand. We were contacted the following day while out shopping for supplies for the new dog to come home with us. We were devastated to say the least!

Posting this because it is almost the five year anniversary of adopting my best friend here. He was kept in a very good sized room for a rabbit, at the shelter and staff were great to him. They even messaged me after I adopted him to make sure he had adjusted well as he was very anxious as a baby. Staff are very kind and clearly love what they do. The animals love the staff and clearly trust them. They were very happy to see my boy get adopted and I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to find the most perfect bunny

Just adopted two kitties from here days ago. Already feels like they are part of the family. One all white senior cat, and a small younger gray short hair kitty. The selection of cats was pretty decent considering we went only a couple days after Christmas to pick some out. The staff were friendly and the facility was clean and well cared for.

I adopted a dog from here! He is so cute! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dogs. If you're thinking of getting a dog, make sure you make an appointment. We didn't know that and ended up coming back later in the day after setting one. Also, if you have another dog in the home, they would like for them to meet each other. Anyway, I found the perfect one! I saw him on their online website before I went to meet him. They made sure I was comfortable with my decision and set us all up for the trip home together. They have a store also where you can buy a leash, crate, etc... Meet Charlie, my new best friend! (Formerly known as Captain)
