We love bringing our pups here. Tracy is wonderful and always takes care of my doodle. The staff is super sweet and they are always very upfront with pricing and what to expect. They are always willing to take our babies last minute if need be!

The staff is nice.. as long as you agree to pay whatever they put before you. The last time I was there, they washed my dog, waited hours to groom him, then charged me double "matted dog" fees. I brush him out thoroughly.. especially since they claimed he was matted before (and definitely wasnt). They will claim top tier and really do have the best prices in Rosharon.. but the time before that my dog came home unable to sit still for almost 2 days.. I asked them to not use any calming meds and was told they never do.. my dog is 11yrs old and had never ever been that wiry... after seeing other reviews about chemicals in the eye and other things I let slide, I had to include my experience. Pay the little bit extra somewhere else. It's not worth the risk.

Ideal Pet Grooming is absolutely amazing! The owners are so welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk in, and their prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Tracy one of many groomers is exceptional — she truly cares about the pets and does an incredible job every time. My pet always comes back looking fantastic and happy. I took my dog here for a bath only with a sani clip because my regular groomer had an emergency. A sani clip if for shaving of genital areas only. My dog has a very thick coat and I particularly requested to be sure he was fully dried, especially his ears. When I was called to pick him up she (Tracey) told me his ears were “badly matted” and he needs to be groomed soon. My dog has been to his regular groomer every week for the past three weeks for a bath so there’s no way he was “badly matted” Rather than taking time to fully dry his thick coat she decided to thin them out WITHOUT permission to cut in any form. After picking him up and getting home I realized how she chopped his ears up. One side particularly worse than the other. The day before I had just taken a video of him to show his vet pertaining to treatment for allergies and you can clearly see how full his ears were and he’s not matted. NEVER did I authorize cutting or dematting as this is not a paper of a bath service and there’s an extra charge. I requested to speak to the owner. She had me send photos and agreed that her groomer Tracey messed his ears up and initially offered for me to bring him back to allow some

OK, I was there March 5, 2026. I took my dog there many times before but I always had a weird feeling because my dog hated going there but I put that aside because it’s close to work and where I live and it was a convenience. I’ve been taking Lulu there for about a year and a half now on March 5. I dropped her off in the morning when I came back to pick her up hours later she was really really excited to see me so I paid for the procedure even though they call me every time I go home five minutes later they called me to add more to my bill, but I’m already going to work already starting my day, so I’m kind of stuck because Lou is there already and I’m forced to pay it whatever they bill me more for it so when I pick her up, but she’s really excited. I put it in the car and I leave. I’m down the street from them ideal pet grooming. I see little those eyes are shut and there’s like she’s in pain. They’re already closed by the time I got home. The day was done. I put warm cloths on her eyes that made her feel better. Her eyes was bloodshot red and there was like some mucus coming out of it both of them.
