Independent pet shops often carry raw and freeze-dried food and local brands, and many run a grooming salon or a self-service wash in the back; dog bakeries sell fresh treats and birthday cakes; aquarium and exotic pet stores serve fish, birds and reptiles; and feed stores sell bulk food, bedding and supplies for farm animals and horses.

Coeur d'Alene is in Idaho, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Coeur d'Alene follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have visited Idaho Puppy Co. for several years in Coeur d Alene. It was my favorite thing to do while waiting for my MOD pizza. This time I visited and there was one special little girl, she is a Mini Golden Doodle. She was the only Doodle, and I looked at her, and when I picked her up to give her love, she sunk into me and just gave me all that love right back. My husband came to see her and saw how sweet she was, and said, OK, you can have her. The girls who were working that day could not be more accomodating, to make the purchase a smooth one. I love going in there, because its always a positive experience. Yesterday we brought her back to visit. We have had her for 2 weeks. She is well adjusted and very smart. We were fortunate to have met the owners Adam and Diana. Two really caring individuals. They love what they do and it shows. The facility is always top notch clean, and the puppies are well cared for. I love that they pray over all their puppies and their staff. My experience has been a very positive one and I can't say enough about my little baby girl, "Honey Doo". Thank you to everyone who was a part of our purchasing our new little girl.

Buying our puppy from them was such an amazing experience, the owner was in text communication with me for the first few days, answering questions about our puppy and gushing over pictures of her. She truly made us feel like family. Highly recommend.

We purchased a beautiful little Golden Retriever from the Coeur d' Alene location. The staff there is so friendly. Abby especially was extremely helpful. It was so clear to me she cares for the animals and wants the best for them. The owner Diana called me personally with a concern I had even though she was out of town visiting family. It is very apparent they take care of these dogs and their customers. Our little guy is so smart and happy. We are so blessed to have found him. Thank you Idaho Puppy Co and the CdA Team! 🩵
