By the way this was our 1st stay at a Hyatt Regency hotel. We checked in on September 4th @ around 5:30pm & checked out on September 6th @ around 1:30pm. The location of this hotel is great so I can not dispute that. On the other hand ... the bad. Room was very inadequate for what you'd think a Hyatt (high end) hotel would be. I think they must've found the carpet in the room from a 1960's porn ... smelled like it too. If you could get by the smell of Marijuana outside your room in the hallway. The bed was very uncomfortable & I could barely sleep at all. The room was not very clean when we checked in. The service we received was very poor the 1st day & a half. But the location of the hotel was great over looking the river. Upon check out I realized , then, they charged us $315 for the 1st night & $745 , yes $745, for the 2nd night. I questioned why & 1 person said when they still have rooms available they raise the price. Isn't that considered price gouging????? When I reserved the room. I thought $745 was the total for both nights OR $315 per night + applicable taxes & reservation fees & add-ons like their breakfast buffet. It wasn't until check out when I realized what it was.

The hotel was nicely located. It was very pricey, my wife and I went in the last week of August, 2026. However, the rooms are very old, carpets need to be replaced. The bathroom was dirty and moldy. I don’t think our room was occupied in the last week or so, if it was, the only thing they did was change the bedsheet. I was really disappointed at the state of the room, considering the price per night. I called the front desk to request a change of room, they said they were sold out. I told them the room was dirty and the bathroom was nasty. They apologized and offered to send a cleaner. They cleaned the bathroom. It still shows old and used. The night rate was over three hundred dollars. Overnight parking was fifty dollars a night. Breakfast was thirty one dollars for the buffet. The lobby is nice and well maintained. The carpets in the hallways were nice. The ones in the room were old, torn, and dirty. It is strictly valet parking. The buffer is good, but they serve the same food EVERYDAY! Not good! I like everything with the exception of the room, but what is the essence of everything if the room is bad. Plus I have to eat the same food for breakfast everyday. I will not be goin

The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the location is excellent for exploring the city on foot. We especially loved the lobby area, which was a great place to relax and spend time together as a family. It had a comfortable, lively atmosphere without feeling too busy. The food was good as well, which made the overall stay even more enjoyable. A great choice for Savannah, especially for the location, friendly service, and welcoming spaces to gather and unwind.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. The location is excellent, the property was clean, and the river view was beautiful. We also appreciated how quiet the hotel was in the evenings, along with the very comfortable beds and strong AC. The complimentary coffee and water downstairs were a nice touch, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. There were just a few areas where communication and maintenance could be improved. It wasn’t very clear what amenities were included with our stay — for example, we only later found out about the $5 daily market credit. We also noticed that some guests had the breakfast buffet included, while others did not, and the buffet itself seemed a bit overpriced. Housekeeping was inconsistent one day and did not arrive until around 5–6 PM, and our room was not restocked with coffee or cups afterward. Our bathroom in Room 220 also had some visible water damage that could use repair. Additionally, the escalator seemed to work intermittently during our visit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the comfort and location of the hotel. We just wanted to share a few small improvements that could make the guest experience even b
