Honestly a true nightmare. In 2024 when I attended a tornado came through Huntington and the school tried to complain about dress code and we were not allowed to check our phones during this or communicate with our families but the director of the school walked away from her dress code lecture to take a phone call from her son. I was also struggling with finding out I have Lupus and I was never once made to feel like HSBC was a safe place or cared about my health at all. 2 instructors and he director are honestly mean as can be and are money hungry. I also feel as if I never gained a single bit of knowledge here. The day after the tornado and the director tried to make us stay at school but the entire clinic floor left after being told it was going to be held against us because everyone was so mad she could take a personal call but we couldn’t call our families during a tornado, I tried to come to school but could not control my anxiety and panic attacks were so severe when even pulling into the parking lot, my husband and I went back up at the end of the day and got my stuff and I never went back.

The school is located in the Big Lots shopping plaza next to King Spirits. Using google directions won’t take you to the correct spot. Look for the windows with HSBC painted on them.

They had just took student pell grants'.. Rather or not reinbursting ..I had never cause I had quit I had graduated with continued education in another state program .. Again now that I remember as a cosmetology student .. They had cut my hair against my will.. While I was trying te grow my hair .They cut and bleached it . All that I didn't want. I had nitemares for months after being in a blonde and in abusive relationship for years'... Plus they're fraudulent .

I attend as a cosmetology student! The program is absolutely the best! The instructors always help if you have questions and are eager to teach. I love meeting new people and seeing some regulars for hair services! I have grown so much since March!

Worst experience in any hair salon ever in my life. Everyone was eating, they dyed my hair completely the opposite of what I asked. The girl was rushed to get my dye done and didn't care or finish cause she left while I was drying... My manicure could have been done better by my 8 year old. She didn't even file my nails...sham and a joke. Hate this place. I would rather cut my own hair or maybe hire a homeless guy to do it. I bet I would have gotten better service and results. Seemed more like a hang out than a school or salon. Do not go here to be a guinea pig for lazy uncaring teachers and students.
