Absolutely wonderful experience with this organization during my first ever adoption. All the staff went above and beyond to match me with the perfect dog. They could have pawned off any old dog but they truly wanted a good match. Now I know why people on social media recommend the humane society for adopting and surrendering animals. I came in today with tears in my eyes, feeling overwhelmed and not knowing what to do. I was saying goodbye to my 18-year-old dog, and it was one of the hardest moments I’ve ever experienced. Jimmy at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. He made me feel supported during a moment when I felt completely lost. The kindness he showed me and my dog meant more than I can express. Thank you for treating us with such care and dignity.

Their team goes above and beyond for every animal that comes through their doors. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to giving pets a second chance at a happy life. The facility is clean and welcoming, and you can tell the animals are genuinely cared for and loved.

We have adopted two dogs from our local Humane Society within the past year—Kane last year and Squirrel this year—and I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the very first interaction, the staff showed nothing but compassion, patience, and genuine care, not just for the animals, but for us as adopters. You can tell this isn’t just a job to them, it’s something they truly believe in. They took the time to answer all of our questions, guide us through the process, and make sure we were matched with the right dogs for our home and lifestyle. Both Kane and Squirrel came to us healthy, well cared for, and clearly loved. The clinic team and the spay/neuter process were incredibly organized and professional, which gave us so much peace of mind. Awesome facility, very good customer service so polite and respectful. Each representative took the time to educate us on their process and after adoption they truly offer good support. The Vaccine volunteers are so super sweet and kind a real pleasure to bring outmr puppies in.
