Missoula is in Montana, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Missoula follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have been very impressed with this Humane Society location over the years. I just adopted a new kitty, re-named Cosmo and the staff was amazing through the whole process. These young women really care about the animals and it shows through their interaction with everyone who walks through the door. Thank you Humane Society of Missoula!

We adopted Lucille (who is now lovingly named worm) and we couldn't be happier! She is the most perfect kitty and the Humane Society made the process so easy. We had a very smooth transition introducing her to our home with all the great gifts they sent with her, plus the adoption time took less than 30 minutes! They had so much great information and even sent us home with some anxiety meds, for no extra charge. Please support this lovely organization and all they do for all their amazing critters!

We adopted the sweetest dog this past week! I knew he was special by his photo and I was right! The shelter was great to deal with and it’s been a smooth transition. Special props to McKie who loved him enough to let him go. Thank you!!! I love him dearly already and he’s doing great!

We recently adopted a dog from HSWM. The support provided was great. We wanted to make sure she was going to be a good fit with our other dog and the behavior specialist was great! I highly recommend adopting from HSWM. They are a fantastic resource for our community.

We adopted Provolone (now Bunker) last spring. The adoption process was very easy and they provided lots of helpful resources to get started on the right track. We are so in love and he has been the best little adventure buddy, and he turns 1 today! Thanks to everyone at the Humane Society, they are great to work with.
