In Burbank, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Hollywoof Dog Grooming at (818) 840-8799; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, rymap.org.

Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Burbank follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I moved to Burbank a few years ago and tried several different dog grooming places in the area. Hollywood Grooming was by far the best. I’ve been taking my dog there for the past four years, and I absolutely love how wonderful they are. They are extremely gentle and kind with all dogs. My dog goes there with a smile and always leaves happy and in great spirits. I’ve told them many times how comfortable he is with them, and I truly know they do an amazing job and treat every dog with care and love. There was one incident that really impressed me and showed their true character. I was picking up my dog after grooming and had put him in my car. I left the driver’s side door open while I grabbed something from the trunk. In just two minutes, my dog ran out and got lost. I was in complete panic. I went back inside to ask if he had run back into the shop, but he hadn’t. Immediately, 2 of the employees including the owner stopped what they were doing and started looking for my dog. They walked all around the business, calling his name and helping me search. I will never forget that kindness. We found Copper after 10 minutes:)) They truly care about their clients and their dogs. JojoBoy is a nice senior doggie who doesnt want his face & his paws to be touched. So for them to give Jojoboy a haircut is a a miracle. I think they're a family owned business and i love that they know their clients. They are reasonable in their prices.
