Germantown is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Germantown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First, this review is coming from someone who is OVERLY consumed with his dogs well being and health. I research everything including my dogs vets, supplements, procedures, food intake, etc.... Nothing goes into her mouth unless its completely clean and organic or wild harvested. She drinks nothing but water filter through a Berkey, she's on a raw diet of the highest quality. With that said, let me provide some insight on my experience with Dr. Deb (Pema) over the past few years. Yes, I look for someone that I connect with as well as see the compassion they have for animals. But I'm mostly concerned with how educated they are across the board with doing what is best for my dog and thinking outside of the box when necessary to provide the best care. Dr Deb is that. In Maryland, I was searching for a Vet that had a holistic background that could provide an array of services when needed. Not many options.... Being from CA, my dog was seeing one of the top holistic alternative Vets in the country. I found Dr Deb and have been a fan since. Also, noting that Dr Karen Becker interviewed her which I assume you can find online. My dog was diagnosed with melanoma about 6+ y

UPDATE: Dr. Deb responded personally, offered to take back all the products for a full refund, and I received one, including the prescription items, which I'll admit surprised me. I also need to correct one detail in my original review: my price comparison on the Five Defenders mushrooms was between two different bottle sizes, so that particular markup claim was wrong, and I've removed it. I want this review to be accurate. I was also asked to consider removing the review entirely. I won't be doing that, because the correction above doesn't change my core experience: multiple products were recommended and billed without asking me where I'd like to purchase them, and without what I'd consider a deep understanding of my dog's specific situation as an active cancer patient under an oncologist's care. When I raised the drug interactions question, I got blanket reassurance and claims, like a procedure that "cured" TCC and examples of many patients who dropped chemo entirely for holistic therapies, that alone raised more concerns for me. I have to admit that the outreach and the refund reflect real customer service, and I appreciate that, and as I said before, we were very happy with t

We have been taking our dog to Dr. Deb for many years. She is super knowledgeable in holistic and conventional care, so we get the best of both, and she gives excellent care. I feel we are in great hands with our beloved pet and wouldn't want to take him anywhere else. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I give Holistic Veterinary Healing a 5-star recommendation.

Last year we adopted our beloved 13 yr. old Molly, who came to us with late stage kidney disease and passed away within 5 months. I credit Holistic Veterinary Healing with helping us make her comfortable during that time, and I think that, without them, Molly wouldn’t have had quality time as she neared death. These folks are brilliant vets and kind souls. We take all four of our pets to them and trust them greatly. It’s a different kind of practice, and all pets can benefit from their superb approach. Try them. You won’t be disappointed and they will improve how you think about veterinary health.

I'm super grateful I gave this place a try. My 2 yr old belgian malinos can be rather difficult at the vet. Especially with shots. We have had 2 amazing visits. Robin was able to give his shot today without any complaints from Axel. At this visit you would have never known how difficult shots have been previously. So kind an patient with him!
