TL;DR: We purchased a severely ill puppy + no real protection from GoodDog. Would give 0 starts if possible. We purchased a Giant Schnauzer puppy from Hillside Enterprises LLC (Christina Woodall) through GoodDog.com. We paid $4,883.35, including their “Protection & Support” fee. The puppy arrived severely ill and a licensed vet documented blood in stool, anemia, underweight condition, lethargy, and three parasitic infections, including hookworms, which are transmittable to humans as well as Cruzia, likely from ingesting opossum feces indicating poor supervision/sanitary facilities. The severity of the ailments indicate they were present and obvious upon sale/transport. We originally thought his calm behavior was personality (as indicated by the breeder), now we know he was extremely sick and it is hard to even imagine that the breeder wasn't aware. Concerns with the breeder: - Did not provide clear health records or a complete exam. - Only 2 of 8 littermates were tested for parasites (breeder's acknowledgement). - Gave conflicting health information about this same puppy to other potential buyers. - Acknowledged prior hookworm issues at her facility. - Delivery was misrepresented
