Plesse read negative reviews on here and Yelp by people who aren't their friends before you take your babies here. I wish I would have. We have had multiple terrible experiences over the course of a year, but to start they killed my healthy cat and are refusing to report it appropriately to the USDA. I tried to call them to tell them she died the day of and had to leave a message, with no return call. Two weeks later they called me to tell me my dog has a "bad UTI" and acted surprised about our cat. It took them two weeks to get a urinalysis back... I'm sure 🙄. At this point our 12 yo dog has had a UTI for 17 days without treatment. We have been with them a year and communication has been an ongoing issue. It seems no one actually listens to voicemail or returns calls despite also not answering the phone. In this whole current experience of our cat dying we've now had to speak to 5 (!) people about an antibiotic "the vet" said he would call in three days ago. This is even after having to stop by because on our many phone calls it was clear staff don't have any idea what each other are doing. One employee who seemed to think she was the vet (and is not, but sure did sign Dr. Gho

The staff at Highland Vet clinic are amazing, but today I decided to switch vets for a couple reasons. I have been taking my dog there for about a year. I often wait 30-40 minutes to be seen after my scheduled appointment, the lobby is often dirty, and smells like pee (could be the carpeted area). Today, my dog was given his allergy shot in the lobby where other pet owners and pets are waiting to be seen. In addition to my dog receiving care in the lobby, I saw four other dogs get shots in the lobby. Nothing was wiped down afterwards. Again, the staff and the veterinarian are lovely people, but I am very disappointed with the cleanliness and timeliness of my appointments with this clinic.

Highland Veterinary Hospital I don’t normally post about stuff like this but this is absolutely ridiculous. We took Murphy and Winston in to get their heart worm and tick shots. They charged us $120 for a “wellness exam” (checking vitals). Then on top of that they asked if we wanted to get Murphy his Lyme and Leptospirosis shot and we said yes. Come to find out they ALSO gave Winston those shots even though he wasn’t due for them until June and we didn’t even ask for him to get those shots. They also gave them their bordetella which also wasn’t due until June, again we DIDNT ASK FOR! After talking with management all they took of was the bordetella and refused to take the other shots we didn’t ask for off. Our bill was $844. That is absolutely unacceptable. They charged us $324 worth of stuff we didn’t even approve or know they were giving our dogs. We will never be using them for our boys ever again and I Advise anyone who is currently using them or thinking about using them to steer clear. To say I’m pissed is a wild understatement.

Highland has helped my two senior cats (14 and 14+ years old) TREMENDOUSLY! 😺 COMMUNICATION- Team members have stayed in contact with me throughout the process. Promptly updating me with tests results, treatment plans, and even to calm my worries. (I need written correspondence to remember and refer to and they have been wonderful communicating via texts and emails- which works best for me.) 🥰 COST- Is the best for this level of care , that I’ve found in Evansville. 🤑 CARE- All staff treat my fur-friends and me with consideration and compassion. 😻 TOBY- He’s a bird. He does bird stuff. Give him a piece of spaghetti. 🙂 On behalf of Sherbert, Sunny Bear and myself, Thank you: Dr. G., Melissa, Molly, and TEAM!! 😺

Ist time there, took my Brady for ear problem, they were very nice, a no contact due Covid-19. Picked Brady up Right on time and he was done very quickly. I'm so glad I found this veterinarian. Its a very busy place, but they keep patients moving in and out very quickly. Very nice technicians.
