Helpful and friendly locally owned business. They have many years of experience and are quite knowledgeable about their products. My chickens love their high protein layer feed. I drive from Austin to patronize this business because of the great customer service & high-quality product at a reasonable price.

HOT - HEART OF TEXAS FEED Store, has Spanish-speaking services, is right off I35, featuring a large parking lot and knowledgeable staff. It stands as a valuable resource for Salado, Texas, contributing to the thriving agriculture and farm-loving community. I purchased a 50 lbs bag of chicken feed for $20 and the gentleman loaded it up in my car which is great service! I’ll be back to purchase their beef.

You'll get that warm welcome each and every time you walk in the door. Great knowledge and competitive prices! Don't drive by this place if you're in need of feed and supplies

Very knowledgeable. Showed me other livestock feeds that had more protein than the one I had been using for years, but at a lower price. Coastal Round bales were significantly lower $$ than where I had been "shopping". I will return
