Sara and the Harbor Hounds team have become like family. They welcomed our Berner when he was a crazy puppy, and it is all credit to them that he plays so well and so safely with all different types of dogs. They provide exceptional care for their daycare dogs and prioritize safety in all aspects. Bruski became a better listener and better furrend because of Harbor Hounds. The icing on the cake is that their grooming services are amazing as well - Berners are difficult to cut and take forever to blow-dry and they have been the best (and the fastest) we've ever gone to. The most difficult part of our move to the south shore will be having to say goodbye to Harbor Hounds!

Freddie my pug has been going to Harbor Hounds for a few months now, and it’s honestly the best daycare we’ve ever used in the Boston area. Sara does such an amazing job — not only helping the dogs play and interact with each other, but also helping them grow in confidence and patience. I love seeing the Instagram stories every week of Freddie learning new tricks, playing with his friends, and having the best time. He knows every Tuesday is daycare day and wakes up SO excited to go. By the time he comes home, he’s completely exhausted from running around and playing all day. As a dog owner, it means so much knowing Freddie is in such good hands while I’m at work. Sara always makes me feel comfortable and confident that he’s being cared for like one of her own. Highly recommend Harbor Hounds to anyone looking for a daycare for their pup!

My adopted pup started here in Feb of 2019. To say they feel like family is an understatement. The dedication and passion begins with the owner Sara and extends across every caregiver there! Sara has never waivered on the highest quality of service and goes above and beyond client needs and service. That also goes for every employee we have encountered. The energy of this place can be seen in every silly picture and felt through every story shared of our furry pals! Truly love you Harbor Hounds!

Our pups home away from home! Karol goes to HH 3 days a week, and comes home happy and satisfied everyday. All of the staff go above & beyond, led by the amazing owner Sara. We love the stories they post on their instagram every day, especially the holiday photo shoots (even though our pup does not like Santa/the Grinch 😂). We trust everyone here 100%, and are so happy we have this place near us in East Boston. There’s not many daycares like this, we appreciate the smaller staff to doggo ratio, and the recommendations they provide. Ty HH - we love you!

A lot of people got dogs during COVID so I feel that it’s important to shine a light on some of the best dog daycare places in Boston. The owner of Harbor Hounds, Sara, and her team are AMAZING. They are all incredibly knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy. They truly love our dogs and care for them as if they are their own. Our dogs are always so happy to go and come home in the best moods. These photos are from when they were both boarded with Sara (who watches them personally - which is amazing) and they were SO happy. I’m not sure who had a better vacation, us or the dogs 😂. That said, whenever we send our dogs to either daycare or boarding, we have full confidence and literally never worry. I can’t say enough good things about and we are so happy to be a part of the HH family.
