Happy Puppy Kingdom has been a wonderful place for my dog. I adopted a two-year-old rescue in January, and when I brought him home, he struggled with significant separation anxiety and was fearful around other dogs. I knew that whenever I inevitably needed to travel, he would likely do better in a boarding environment than with in-home care because being left alone was especially stressful for him. With that in mind, I started looking for a boarding facility that also offered daycare so he could gradually become comfortable with the environment before any overnight stays. I found Happy Puppy Kingdom through Google and was immediately drawn to the fact that they specialize in smaller dogs. I also appreciated that Sophia requires an assessment before accepting new dogs. When I brought my dog in for his assessment several months ago, he was quite nervous. Sophia was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding as he adjusted to the facility. She kept me updated with photos and videos as he gradually inspected the facility and settled in. Now my dog absolutely loves his weekly visits to Happy Puppy Kingdom. The owner Sophia is very nice and patient to walk us through the boarding procedure. I had my dog stayed with them last Christmas and it was a nice experience. Sophia send us photos everyday about my dog and update how he’s doing. They also offered grooming services, which IMO was the best groomer I had in Honolulu.

I absolutely love Sophia and her staff! Soba, my dachshund has my heart and is truly like my child. Sophia took care of her wonderfully while I was away on Thanksgiving. She trains the other dogs to work and treat your dog as a part of their pack, and she monitors them to ensure that they are safe and happy. Sophia took Soba home with her to sleep and spoiled her. She slept on her bed and was treated like a queen. Her shop is very clean, and though I don't understand how this was possible, Soba did not come home with any fleas. It is safe, with 3 doors that prevent escapes. Sophia always keeps her front door locked as her shop is not publicly accessible. In addition, Nobuko, the groomer there gave my baby an excellent bath and hair cut. It was a perfect job and better than anything I could have asked for. I have also been meaning to get Sophia to begin training and obedience lessons. Today, she piloted her first session with me, and I loved it. This lady is seriously like the female version of the dog whisperer. She gave me advice and explains why your dog acts the way that they do. I am soo happy and grateful that I found Happy Puppy Kingdom doggy daycare for my little girl!! 💖 I researched and reached out to a few different places, but as soon as Sophia responded to my message, I knew HPK was the perfect fit! I am a very anxious dog mama and my little girl can be a little high maintenance princess at times 😅. Sophia was so warm and friendly from the start, and she really put all my worries about leaving my baby at ease. She goes above and beyond to make HPK not only a daycare, but like a magical wonderland for doggies! There are always so many fun activities going on, and she and all the staff truly treat the pups like royalty! 👑 In fact, it looks like my dog has a way more exciting social life than I do since she started going to HPK! 😝 They take such good care of my girl and she is always soo happy to see Sophia, the staff, and all her doggy friends! 🐶💕 I have very high standards when it comes to making sure my girl is well-cared for, and HPK has exceeded all of my expectations. This place is nice and small, not too many dogs. I needed a place to put my dog while I worked. Sophia kept me updated with videos and updates of my pup throughout the day. And my pup slept well every night she went. The location is also very central. Only downside is parking can be difficult, and it's best if your dog is potty pad trained. Check the insta for a better assessment of the vibes.
