Happy Dog Baths & Grooming

I’ve been bringing my dog here for about 6 months and every time, they do a great job! I have a miniature schnauzer so her haircut can be a little more difficult than the average dog’s. Both groomers do a great job and are easy to schedule with. Definitely recommend!

Happy Dogs takes excellent care of our two Standard Poodles. The level of grooming is truly exceptional. Our dogs are always happy to walk in for a spa day.

Happy Dog Grooming has blessed our family so much! Our sweet puppies have been shown so much love by everyone there. They’ve all walked through difficult seasons with us as well as the great ones and we have been very pleased with this special group!

I brought my 3 year old King Charles here and was extremely disappointed. The staff was very friendly at first. I told them that I wanted a puppy cut which is usually very straightforward. I dropped him off at 8 and never received a call that he was ready. I called at 2 to check in and they told me he was ready two hours ago. He asked me why I hadn’t picked my dog up yet and was very rude to me even though I explained I hadn’t received a call/text/email from them. When I got there, they brought him out with the wrong collar & leash. They had shaved his whole body including his ears, face and whiskers. I have never seen a groomer who shaved whiskers before?? They told me the total was 100 dollars. I asked why it was so expensive for a bath and cut, and they told me that’s the price for a “medium-sized” dog. My dog is 20 pounds… I suggested that he is a “small” dog, and they gave me a “discount” since it was our first time. Needless to say, I will not be back and I do not recommend them.

I took a chance on bringing my dog to this groomer after a poor experience last time and what a mistake that was. Explicit instructions were given regarding exactly how we wanted our dog cut and they were completely ignored. The groomer claimed to know how to do a traditional Scottish terrier cut but based on the cut they gave my Scottie, I don’t know if they’ve even ever seen a Scottie with a traditional cut. The skirt was completely cut to about an inch (we’ve been growing, combing, and grooming the long skirt for 6 years!!), the legs and feet were completely cut short, and the face/ears look like they weren’t even touched. It is going to take us years to grow the skirt back and get our dog looking like an actual Scottie again. I will not return to this groomer or recommend them to anyone else in the future.
