Groovy Pet Grooming

Very recently, my 18-year-old female cat began manifesting difficulty grooming herself, and being long-haired, this became a real issue. She had never allowed me to groom her, and I didn't think anyone else could, either. I knew if this were the case I might have to have her put down. Her health, otherwise, did not indicate this need and I felt enormous stress over the possibility of having to make that decision. I remembered that Abby had successfully groomed my daughter's long-haired tuxedo, and chose to try, even given Minnie's resistance to grooming, or even being handled, in the past. If I could give ten stars, I would: Minnie emerged from the session looking like a resurrected cat! Abby shared with me how patient Minnie had been during her time with them; but I know it was Abby, and any staff who assisted her, who were the patient ones! Their patience only rubbed off on Minnie. And as all animals are keenly perceptive at "reading" humans, Minnie absolutely knew Abby cared about her and was there to help her feel better. I can't praise Groovy Pet Grooming enough! They are such a blessing and Godsend!

I took my Pom in for her first ever haircut and I feel like they butchered her! The girl discussed the cut with me prior to drop off and advised she would leave the fluff but just trim it up to look nicer. This is NOT what I had in mind and the cut is extremely uneven. The employees were friendly and professional however, but probably won't be back.

The ladies here did a wonderful job on all five of my dogs. The cuts are great and they smell wonderful and those are the two most important things and my dogs were pretty comfortable and pretty happy so this is my new go to place!!! Thank you ladies and I do highly recommend this place. My dogs look great and even though it’s a 40 minute drive it’s worth it to me and the prices were better than any other place I could find. All my dogs look great And are very happy ! Thank you !!! See you in 6 weeks.

Abby is the best groomer! She cares deeply about her clients, both the furry ones and their human companions. She can handle any dog, and treats each one with love, regardless of how difficult they may be. My dog is pure drama, and she was able to handle him better and kinder than any vet office he’s been to, for nail trimmings. My pup Zagreus may put up a fight, but he still loves and trusts Abby after a groom, because she builds a good relationship with each of her dogs. Thank you, Abby, for being a loving and talented groomer, and such a kind person!
