Groomingdales Pet Salon

With 14+ years of experience in pet care, Groomingdales Pet Salon is a professional pet grooming salon in Glendale, California, serving dogs, cats, and exotics. Founded in 2012, our roots date back to 2007, when we began working in a veterinary clinic, where we learned to recognize what pets need physically, emotionally, and behaviorally — not just how to groom them safely. Professionally grooming since 2011, we offer expert, personalized care for every pet — proudly serving Glendale, Burbank, and nearby communities.

In Glendale, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Glendale is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Glendale is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
