About Groomingdales

Located at 37478 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia, MI 48150, Groomingdales operates as a pet groomer serving Livonia in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Livonia, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Michigan, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (734) 432-7975. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 292 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Livonia.

Livonia is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Livonia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Been taking my goldendoodle here for 5 years. They know him well & are understanding, patient, and accommodating with him given that he hates the blow dryer and water. Honestly he hates it all lol 😂 but they always do an amazing job, are easy to work with, and extremely affordable. Plus he always smells amazing afterwards!

Groomingdales can do a nail clipping on my dog much quicker than I ever could. He struggles with having his paws touched and needs them done accurately and quick. I have been going here for several years and the staff always do a good job. I appreciate the quick and friendly service along with the reasonable charge for the service.

I am sorry I can’t remember the lady’s name but you will know her because she is rough in the way she speaks to you, in her mannerisms and voice. She is an older lady. She did my older dog’s grooming last week. When I picked him up I could see it was a poor grooming job with spots that were cut too short and dirty ears. One spot was cut right to the skin. She complained that he acted even older than he was for grooming and she had problems with him. My dog yelped at any touch to his back for a week. I had let her know he had an issue with a weak back. I believe he was especially difficult for her because she was hurting him and being too rough with him. I called and talked to the owner about this and she was apologetic. Her apologies did not help my poor dog. I won’t be going back there ever again

Excellent services today, Friday April 3. My dog Gracie was groomed. She came home looking beautiful! The exceptional part is the cost of her grooming did not go up since last year. It’s so nice to find a company that does not continually raise their prices. Groomingdales has been in Livonia for years. This is the reason why, Thank you 😊.

Recently took both of our dogs here and couldn't be happier with their grooms. We have a 4 year old bernedoodle and a 4 month old teddy bear (was his first groom) Reasonably priced and both dogs look and smell amazing! Glad we found a new groomer and looking forward to future visits!
