In Nashville, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Tennessee, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Nashville is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Nashville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently moved here from Texas with my two 3-year-old Yorkies, and several neighbors recommended Groomer Has It. I’m so glad they did! Molly was wonderful, taking extra time with my nervous male Yorkie and giving both dogs great haircuts. They looked adorable, and I could tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she grooms. Highly recommend!

I have held off posting a review, because I adore the woman who grooms my dog but after today, enough is enough. The owner is severely lacking in customer service. If it weren't for Maggie (the groomer), I would go elsewhere and I may look into it, regardless. The owner has no business working the front desk - she is passive-aggressive and clearly doesn't care about dogs or customers. When they screwed up my dogs' appointments two years ago, I received no apology (one dog remained there for hours with no water). Another time, they called with a cancellation and offered to work my dogs in - I took the appointment and when I arrived for pick up, she had the audacity to tell me I was "lucky" they could work me in. Listen carefully: YOUR BUSINESS called ME with an opening, and since there are literally dozens of grooming options in Nashville, you should NEVER tell a customer they are "lucky" you could work them in; lady, you are LUCKY to have your customers. Today, when I arrived to pick up my dog, she brought him out with no harness and his leash still attached to the harness, slung that at me, and shoved him out to the open area where he could have easily run out the front door. Just picked up my Astro from GHI, and he looks great! I’ve had issues with people completely shaving him and I don’t want that. Nicole was his groomer and she met us at the door this morning was happy to listen to how I wanted him cut, she recommended a few things that were perfect! She did a wonderful job! Very highly recommend GHI! The staff was very kinds and helpful!
