I used groome for the first time august 22nd. The service was nothing short of exceptional, very impressive. I was unable to catch my flight due to a damaged passport so had to go back home, went on the site and booked another ride back to Athens to pick up my car. I hope to be flying out again on the 24th and have already booked it again, very highly recommended.

If you call, they are somewhat curt/short on the phone. To be expected I suppose. Also, the seats in the rear are a tight fit. I ended up with a seatbelt jammed into my back for the 1 hour ride to the ATL airport. They should consider moving the pickup from Bethlehem to Dacula. It's the halfway point between Athens and Atlanta. Dacula also has newer shopping centers that are in better condition than the Texaco they currently use. I don't think there is a competitor in the area.

Literal bus ride of my nightmares. 17 minutes late for pickup. Two of the 8 available seats in the bus were soaked in urine. The bus was incredibly dirty, aside from the pee seats. It was humid in the bus so we kept asking for air but it only made it worse. The driver proceeded to floss and pick her teeth for maybe a full 30 mins of the drive from the airport to Athens. Over and over again we swerved into lanes other than our own, which resulted in transfer trucks honking at us. So now the bus smells like pee, it’s hot and humid inside the bus, drivers keep honking at us, and our drivers is audibly flossing her teeth with one hand while she drives with the other. A legit nightmare. On top of that, the company doesn’t want to refund us or give us any money back after that experience. I wish I could add the video of her flossing but google doesn’t allow that. Edit - Response to their reply: We already reached out via email with all the requested details (passenger name, reservation number, and a full account of the situation), and were told that the issue would not be addressed or compensated. It was also extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone in the first place. Gi

50 minutes late. The bus has the check engine and the check tire pressure lights on. The drivers were so late that other people who were supposed to be picked up, were picked up by the bus scheduled for an hour later. The drivers were rude and unhelpful. They didn’t even know where the stops were, we pulled into the wrong parking lot to pick someone up. They were unconcerned about everyone in the bus being late. Additionally, despite being 50 minutes late, they decided to hold us up an additional 10 minutes to wait for someone who never showed up. The customer support was unhelpful, vague, and accusatory. Blaming us for picking the pickup location we did. Baffling and frankly incompetent service. Will not be using again.

All said and done I took the Groome transportation from Athens Georgia to the Atlanta airport. Booked online and the cost was $50+ a 20% tip for outstanding service. Sal was absolutely amazing ! he was on time, courteous, professional and helped with my belongings.Got me to the airport right on time. I don't think my friends will ever give me the 2-hour ride to the airport again now knowing about this service hahah
